I have worked in the customer service industry for over 10 years bartending and waiting tables at the local golf courses and Rudy’s Steak House. I have never seen such poor customer service and just plain nasty behavior from other customer service workers in my life. I got there at least a hour before close and the entire time one of the floor workers who is well in her 60’s name Candy continued following and harassing me the entire time I was there. She kept making snotty comments and overall had a terrible attitude for absolutely no reason whatsoever. I can only assume it’s because she clearly was upset that she was working the closing shift and doesn’t like working retail anymore and or has been doing it way too long. I was polite but she went out of her way to make me extremely uncomfortable. It was 10:53and they announced on the overhead speaker that the store was closing at 11:00 and to select your final purchases and head to the register. I had everything I was going to purchase and began heading to the register when I was stopped by another floor worker who told me the registers where now closed and I would not be able to purchase anything mind you it was 10:55 and they have to stay open till 11:00 at least. They never announced that you had to be rung up and out the door by 10:55 and it’s not standard industry procedure. I have shopped there many times before closing and have never experienced this before. The lady who came to tell me that I couldn’t buy my items was Alisha and she was also the manger. I began to tell her that I work in customer service and this was absolutely absurd. I also told her that it was painfully obvious they didn’t like working in customer service/retail and no one forced them to apply to this job. Alisha the Manger said customer service is very hard and I said yes it is but it doesn’t give you the right to treat people like this. I guarantee Sierra will loose so much business due to the actions of these two employees. They went out of their way to be extremely rude and make up new store policies because they wanted to go home. It’s actually baffling they told me they wanted to go home. I suggest the upper management of Sierra look into hiring people who are capable of working a retail job with late hours and retraining their manger and employees. I will go back tomorrow to purchase my items that I spent time finding but I will never return to this store again. I have never contacted a corporate company to make a formal complaint before but this was beyond disrespectful.

The employees were friendly. My only complaint is the return policy. They sold a poor quality shirt, but because it was worn once, they wouldn’t return or exchange.
