If I could give no stars or negative stars I would. This is by far one of the worst places we have ever taken our pups. From the very first interaction with their staff my gut was telling me not to go with this place and to figure something else out but unfortunately we were limited on options and time at this point and against my better judgement we booked The Dog Bark for our holiday vacation. The initial observation went great, all three of our pups behaved as expected. The time came and we dropped off the pups and went in vacation. Long story short, all three have been dealing with some form of kennel cough like we’ve never seen. It’s been three months now. After multiple vet visits and multiple rounds of treatments, having our entire yard professionally cleaned, as well as our entire house professionally cleaned, things seem to FINALLY be calming down. Our pups have always been very healthy and are well taken care of, always current on shots etc. I can assure you I will NEVER recommend nor endorse this place in any way shape or form. This place needs to be shut down, I have since filed a complain with the BBB as well as the Attorney General’s office.I am disappointed by your unprofessional attitude and your failure to acknowledge the actual issue. My pup’s behavior has nothing to do with this review, so please do not try to avoid the issue. I also find it concerning that you are quick to shift the blame, as well as violate your own Privacy policy and divulge private and confidential information about your own customers instead of taking steps to prevent this from happening again to your future customers.

We've been taking our dog Sadie here for years. Absolutely the best place in town for overnight care of your dog. The staff are professional, responsive and caring. Sadie gets crazy excited when she knows we're going to The Dog Bark. (Not so excited when it turns out we're going to the vet instead . . .).

The Dog Bark was recommended to us by our local dog park community. We left our 8 month old husky girl for 8 days while we attended a wedding in O’ahu. This was the first time we have ever used a dog boarding service and the first time I have left my dog. I am a stay at home mom so I am with her 24/7. I loved that I could watch her from the cameras, I even called in to check up on her and the staff was very kind and let me know how she was doing. We go on several out of state trips and will be coming back to The Dog Bark. The only cons were that we missed out fur baby. ☺️

Best option for boarding my dogs. Instead of being in a kennel the whole time we are gone, they get to play with other dogs all day long. Friendly staff. And the cameras to watch your dogs are a great feature.

Absolutely they best doggy daycare!!!! Penny knows exactly where we are. She gets super excited. They have AC, they have cameras I can watch all day, pool for them to play in. Small and large sides, very clean super super excited and friendly. They do have overnight boarding. Not sure I would ever need that but it’s nice to know it’s there. Their prices are really great. I was super nervous about leaving Penny but they really helped me through it. ? ?

I was really relieved to find a place where I could take my dog for a day. I appreciated how up front they were about the cases of canine influenza they had and wanted to be sure it was something I had my dog vaccinated for. The first couple of times were great. Watching the cams, however, I was concerned that they allowed the dogs to defecate all over the floor. I will say they were quick to pick it up, but it wasn't a habit I wanted my dog to learn from the others. On his third stay, I appreciated they allowed him to go outside for some time since he only goes to the bathroom outside. That night, however, he became really sick and the vet informed us that he contracted Giardia. I called to inform the facility which responded, "thank you, I will put it in his notes". Then I promptly checked the reviews to find he was the third case to be mentioned. I have great concern for the regard they give such an infectious parasite and hope for the sake of other pet owners they take it more seriously.

They were very caring and took my dogs a whole week while I was on vacation. The web cam really helped me feel at ease because all I had to do was click on it and I could see them from half way across the earth lol I would recommend them!

Day care: I have a 4yo German Shepherd Husky named Beau who has been going to this day care since January 2023. At that time I ended up moving to an apartment by myself and wanted to make sure that besides our jogs and walks, that he had a chance to be mentally stimulated and the chance to have fun with other dogs. I was hesitant to leave my baby with at the time what would be considered strangers. It eased my mind completely knowing they had a webcam I could check 24/7. Now, I don't even check it anymore because I 100% know they are taking good care of him. I sometimes check to see what Beau is doing just for fun but never because I don't trust where he is. Beau is very friendly and wants to be friends with everyone, sometimes even when they don't want to be his friend. I was a bit worried at first that he might annoy another dogs there and so let them know what to look out for once he was accepted into daycare. They assured me they would check on him and he has never had issue. Beau was a little scared at first to be dropped off and I felt awful seeing that he looked liked he thought I was abandoning him. They were SO welcoming and encouraging with him- after three visits, he became SO excited to go in he didn't even look back at me to see where I was. He is so happy to see the staff there and there has not been a single day where I am not welcomed with a smile and inquiry of how I am doing. EVERY single employee goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and you can feel they truly care. I have never had a single bad experience and I am SO thankful to have found a welcoming, safe and affordable place to let my sweet Beau play with his friends. I am always finding myself recommending The Dog Bark to other folks I know.Regarding nail clipping: I have had Beau for two years and we have progressed so much in the paw desensitization department but there are times I just am not able to clip all his nails on my own. We had tried Petco a few times but he was way too nervous and they were only able to get his back paws. This was the case three weeks ago- suddenly I remembered that The Dog Bark does nail clippings I called them and let know Beau's nervousness and the next day they were able to do what Petco had not been able to do! They got all his front paws and said they took it very slow and praised him a lot that he let them do it! I was happily surprised and so thankful they gave him so much grace and patience. I heavily believe it is because he trusts them and has good relationships with the gals there. They are all rock stars!

Very friendly staff! The doggie cam is a great thing to have so that we can check on our puppy whenever we want.
