Bought our decking materials from Kilgore. Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend them. They even had a scrap box that we raided for some firewood kindling.

Staff are very knowledgeable and always check and see if they can help with whatever my current job or project is. Products are high quality and a true local business. If you're going to the big box stores, yeah those 2, you really need to try here and see the difference between knowledgeable friendly staff at Kilgore and wondering around aimlessly searching for an employee who isn't going to be able to help you anyways at the big box stores.

The lumber here was cheaper than the big box stores. plywood was great, but 2x6 were pretty ruff from being outside in the weather. very helpful staff. The last time I was there, the manager asked what they needed to make the store better. What would make it better is if they had cold drinks by the register so I don't have to stop by Arco as well.

I love this store they always have what I need and prices are great. The best thing about it is the staff. They’re immediately ready to assist, have great suggestions and are super friendly. Kilgore is so much better than the big box stores. I’m so glad they have been a vital part of my neighborhood for the 20 years I’ve lived in South Salem.
