I moved my direct deposit(s) to US Bank because my mortgage is with them. I Bank primary through the verseateller machine. I prefer not to have all $20's when I pull over $300. I don't understand when I come here(W. Salem) after hours why the $100 option is not available. During the week I can see there being a larger demand, perhaps. But going into the weekend? I don't know if it's a branch thing or corporate but it's frustrating living in W. Salem and routinely having this issue 7 days a week.

If I could put it in the negative stars, I definitely would funny. I come on here and see they are at 2 and a 1/2 star rating. In general, I can see why anything they can do to make things harder for me struggling with grief, from the loss of my son just trying to get his check cashed. Now I have to go all the way over to the one in North Salem.
After after they already told me here. Once I had the check rewritten in my name. It would be no problem, but that's all they do is cause problems. That's why I do not like this bank.

Trash service. Stopped by 12-20-2024 to get my mom an acct for her SS. They were bust. Scheduled appointments for Monday 12-23-2024. We arrive lady at the desk is totally rude. Raises her hand and her voice at my Mom as she's approached. My Mom's 70, there's no reason to talk to her like that. If you're busy, close your teller gates. Don't yell at a potential customer. Then when she comes to help us she tells us there's no appointment. The guy Scheduled the apps for 12-20-2024 3:00pm. We were in the lobby of the bank making the appointment at 2:50pm that day. Lady gets snotty with us about that. Tell us we got the wrong date. I show her my google map.and ask why we Scheduled an appointment for 10 mins after we were there. You'd expect blatant apologies and profuse mea culpas, right? Nah more attitude. Aight, my Mom will take her money somewhere it'll be appreciated.

Super nice people here. Patricia is particularly kind and sweet. Everybody is, she is the one who I have interacted with most. I had a problem that she helped me overcome. Very kind and helpful. I continue to come back here.

My dad passed away in December and he had an account at this branch with roughly $160 in it, my mom was not on the account, but she has his death certificate and trust and will. The bank refuses to close the account and give my mom the $160, and on top of that, while my mom is trying to go through the court system, the bank is stealing $5 a month for an inactive account. Shame on you U.S. Bank.
