This West Salem Walgreens used to be a great store. It has really gone down hill. Went in to get a passport photo today. The clerk took my name and phone number. Went back in 5 hours later and one of the "managers" was there. No photo. The SD card isn't working, which he said has been a problem. He said he wasn't told anything when he came on shift about my photo. I asked if it would be policy for the clerk to call me and let me know it couldn't be done, so I'd know to go elsewhere. He just said, "yeah, she should have called." That's it. If they knew there was a problem, why wasn't that relayed to all employees and consequently, to customers? Also, the store has been very dirty. I've asked when the janitor might be coming in. I was told they don't have one to do floors and someone on each shift is supposed to be cleaning them. Is everyone still using COVID as an excuse for poor customer service and lack of help?

In general, Walgreen's in West Salem is okay. My wife and I had influenza and covid vaccines in late October. But in mid- to late-November we travelled to Denver and came home very sick. Thought at first it was Covid, but testing later confirmed it was Influenza A. It appears that their vaccine was entirely ineffective.

All the pharmacy staff are always as helpful each and every time I go inside or go through the drive thru window. They always make me feel as if my needs are important to them and always ask if I need help or have any questions. They're very professional and caring.

I was in dire need of a prescription. I signed online last month at Walgrens to be notified of the status of my prescriptions, especially if there was a problem with a prescription. I was not notified of prescriptions that the doctor ordered Monday. Today is Thursday and I still was not called. I have been given a prescription of 1 am pill and 2 bedtime pills for the last three months by the same doctor to control my pains from a fall. Walgrens has filled this nerve pain prescription every month. Walgrens pharmacy came upon an error when they received 2 scripts for this drug. The pharmacy did not call me about the problem even though its my medicine for nerve pains. The pharmacy was out of the second drug the doctor ordered for me and did not call me to let me know or arrange to get the medicine elsewhere. They just claimed they were out of the medicine. They did not say they tried to get the medicine from another Walgrens.

EVERYTIME I go into this location the service is awful. Everytime the sale items are out of stock and when you ask someone about looking for more you are met with attitude. If you need to go to Walgreens I'd go to another location.

The pharmacists are rude and don't care about your health needs whatsoever. they were even rude on the phone when refilling my 8 year old daughters meds. i don't recommend using this pharmact at all. I switched back to rite aid where they actually care and are polite.

Exceptional staff and pharmacy. One call I placed to store to ask about inventory bounced around and left me on hold forever. Thankfully, the location is convenient so I just drove there and found what I needed. Folks possibly struggling with housing may loiter and use the bathroom without paying—doesn't bother me though may differently affect others—as well as normally rowdy teenagers in the parking lot from nearby stores.

I get my Rx there. I have never had them make a mistake on my scripts. When there was a mistake it was always because my Dr.'s office made the mistake.

This Walgreens employs a pharmacy technician that posted a lewd photo of me on her Facebook account. The photo was circulated and lead to threats of dismemberment, death threats, cyberstalking, and harassment from strangers in the Salem/Eugene/Portland area starting in 2013. There are regular resurgences of harassment that continue today. When the pharmacy technician posted the photo it eventually lead to embarrassing false accusations and negative attention from private investigators and vigilantes that lead to job loss and permanent damage to my reputation. I attempted to contact the pharmacy technician directly to resolve the issue but they refused to respond. I tried to contact Walgreens HR about the issue but they will not respond appropriately given relevant information. I also contacted several law enforcement agencies about the issue and they do not have the ability or resources to resolve the matter. Walgreens should not employ people who are this clueless about the consequences of their actions.

Can you please Institute a policy to keep the aggressive vagrants off your front door. The poor customer service is bad enough but I'm not going to be attacked by drug addicts to patronize your store. If I see it again I'll never do business here ever again. People shouldn't be attacked and accosted on your property that makes you liable.

Looking for a humidifier, and asked an employee but refused because he was going to lunch. Then I complain to the manager and she was as unprofessional.
