Banked with WF since 1999. Have had auto loans and a mortgage through them. Never had any financial issues. Bank put a hold on my retirement disbursement, despite it being a local check. Manager could give two flying f’s and was snarky as could be. I’ll never bank with WF again and will be closing my accounts once the damn hold is lifted.
Edit: Alex, I emailed corporate a few hours ago.

Definitely won’t be stopping by at this location the morons an supervisor wouldn’t cash my check cause apparently 15k is abnormal was told it would be put on hold. Went down to Lancaster Wellsfargo and was out in less than 5 mins. They all need some serious training couldn’t answer my questions they had to look for a supervisor then he to never could answer my question. Stay away from this location if you have larger checks to cash.

Absolutely terrible customer service and rude as hell. Completely unhelpful. Can't cash my payroll check even though I cash it there every other Friday no problems. Today I'm told we can't tell you why we can't cash it while smiling. Then 3 hours later we find out it's the banks fault. What a surprise. Wells Fargo sucks bad... I do not recommend

What a waste of space and a bank. WF got slammed with fines for being shady and commiting fraud. If you need ANYTHING from this branch it's like pulling teeth. They wouldn't even let me close my account and then threatened me with monthly fees if I kept it at a $0 balance. Well, charge all the fees you want, I refuse to set an appointment two weeks out.

This branch is the worst. Unmotivated staff. The manager Adam is condescending and unhelpful. Other locations have been so much better that it is a shame to have to drive to a different location but worth it in the long run.Edit:I have been contacted and shall see if it is a real person and there is follow through or not.

Absolutely the WORST company to bank with. You will go in to verify that there will not be a hold on your check, get told by an ADAM That there won't and then find out there is a hold then when you get ahold of JYONSTHA online 2 hours later, they say call the issuing bank and they will verify it will clear and we will remove the hold. Then the issuing bank will tell you wells fargo needs to call. You tell JONSIHKA who SIX HOURS later tell yous that you need to call. You call and you get hung up on by SEAN, AMANDA AND DONALD. FINALLY you get someone who doesn't hang up right away but rather tells you they don't call out then hangs up. So you call a branch and talk to JARED. JARED tells you that he doesn't do that. All I want is to have this check deposited so I can close my account with this awful company because clearly you are nothing but a money leech for them and an account they can claim.UPDATE: I have filed a FDIC claim as the funds have been verified by the issuing bank as clearing the account so the hold ID an illegal hold. Please know your rights as this bank clearly doesn't care about following regulations. Go bank elsewhere.

I went in to open an account. They said I couldn't open an account because there was no "banker" there. Huh? Who IS there then? It's ridiculous. I was told I would have to "make an appointment." Totally laughable. Then I finally asked if I could use their restroom, and they told me to go to Starbucks....just don't expect to do any banking at their bank.

Change... You'd think you could bring a fair amount of change to a bank to deposit, even have coins sorted prior to coming in individual bags. No, not only do they make you roll it yourself (either away inna seat or take it home and do it) because their machine for change has been broken for YEARS, Apparently if it's not a full roll they wont take it normally...
