I purchased three money orders here for myself. Was told, after I got here, I couldn't cash them or handwritten checks. Would have saved me a trip on a Saturday afternoon, had I known. Since banks weren't open, I checked other retalers
and was told by those who would cash them, they wouldn't since I didn't buy it there. Other places would sell one but not cash one, regardless of where it was purchased. Won't be buying any more for that purpose again. An international money service that won't cash their own money orders is a waste of time. Sending money isn't a problem, just cashing a Western Union money order is when your bank is closed.
