Just stopped in, because I'd never been there. Very nice store and staff. Found some gifts and a little something for me, too. It's not just bird cages and seed, although they have a nice selection of those, too. They also have earrings, pins and helpful kitchen items. I enjoyed my visit.

This place is a great resource if you feed birds or want to get into the hobby.Their selection is extensive and high quality, from what I can tell.I recently went in to buy some seed cylinders and suet. The person who helped me was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She showed me products I wouldn't have noticed if on my own. Also, she had a bunch of great suggestions based on my situation, which was starting bird feeding in a new location. It all turned out to be great advice. I now have birds at my feeders every day, and I am delighted (as is my indoor cat).I highly recommend this place for great service and great selection!

My very first time in Wild Birds Unlimited, I had no idea this place existed until today. I travel to the area for work and have been around this part of Salem many times, I noticed the place as I drove by & being new to the Bird Scene?... Community?... I knew I had to stop by. Very knowledgeable staff at the WBU, they had answers for all of my avian questions. I bought a bird bath & some seed. I can't wait to try the bath out later(not me, for the birds) ?️ Thanks WB Unlimited!!

My family and I needed some squirrel food and had questions regarding our hummingbird bird feeder. The clerk was very helpful, answering all our questions and very knowledgeable about her products and wildlife. We had an amazing experience learning about the area and she was spot on with her recommendation about the squirrel food!!!

Although their product line is stellar, this location leaves you cold just in the freeze and awkwardness of Judy's lack of friendliness and professionalism. And if Judy's friend is working with her, then it's worse. The two of them will talk in whispers about you, while also asking you questions in judgemental tones. Last time I was there, I said "Hello Judy" as I walked in -- I was sincere in my greeting. Judy and her friend went behind the counter and I could hear them asking one another how i knew her name ... I've been a customer there for years. Regardless, they did not have the ability and to just smile back or be friendly. Thank goodness for Marie, who is a hard worker and always kind. I will now begin to order with WBU directly and have it delivered - it's no longer worth my frustration to go into this store. Which is too bad -- I like supporting local businesses, and their selection is great. But my blood pressure can no longer tolerate Judy, Judy's friend, or their rude demeanor.
