Very pleasant staff and impeccably clean. Loved the argan oil shampoo and conditioner! Room is basic, but comfortable--a lounge chair to watch TV with a table for snacks was a nice addition. Good internet and a desk. Bed was very comfortable and had a variety of pillows. Housekeeping outstanding--daily service was better than I've experienced recently in higher-end hotels. Nice hot shower with good water flow.

The stay there was pleasant. It is so nice to have someone with a good disposition working the graveyard shift. That way you don’t have to deal with abstinence. You had this one graveyard person Named I think it was Brianna. She was fantastic. Very nice kind easy to talk to very pleasant person. Enjoyed our conversation along with really enjoyed the morning. breakfast was immaculate. The person checking me out I think their name was Taylor was also very pleasant Great smile The room was really clean not very noisy very pleasant as well.

A decent hotel in Sandy! One of the few options, but very reasonable and very comfortable. Only complaint is that there are almost no sidewalks to get to the hotel. So if you are taking public transit, it is a bit cumbersome to travel with luggage on the road.

I haven’t actually stayed overnight at the Best Western Sandy Inn, but I’ve had the chance to interact with Nathan, and he truly left a great impression. He’s warm, professional, and goes out of his way to help people, whether they’re guests or just stopping by. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about creating a welcoming environment.
If Nathan is any indication of the kind of service this hotel provides, I’d absolutely feel confident booking a stay here in the future. He’s a real asset to the team!

This hotel was the perfect distance between Portland, Columbia Gorge and Mt Hood. There is a Safeway next door and several restaurants close by.
The hotel and rooms were outdated and in need of remodel/repair. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. Upon check in our refrigerator door was broken and thank goodness there was an empty room that they could get one from. The AC unit barely kept up with the temps and it was a mild few days. The bedding appeared clean and the mattress was encased in a protective "envelope". The biggest issue was the hard floors. THEY WERE FILTHY. We checked in late afternoon and immediately got comfortable and took our shoes off. By that evening our feet were black. After looking at their cleaning supplies it appears that they don't truly mop the floors. It looks like they spray the floor with a bottle of cleaning solution and wipe it down with a Swiffer type mop.
The rest of the hotel looked fine but other than breakfast we did not wander. Breakfast was ok. Not much variety but plenty of it so we ate well and it stayed with us well past lunch time.

I love the fact that when you pull up, there is a bubbling fountain across from the entryway when you walk in it’s like A fresh breath there. Cat was amazing super friendly helped me pick an awesome restaurant to go to Taylor on the phone by far the most awesome phone conversation I’ve ever had with a property. I can see why they have him working mornings. He’s that awesome awesome ray of sunshine for those checking out and those booking. My room was spacious and beautiful. I love the lounge chair up against the wall by the window. There’s no elevator when you go up the stairs you’re greeted by a giant picture of Multloma Falls. Next-door to the right is Safeway on the other side just a couple blocks away is the dollar tree, Pizza Hut, Goodwill, and other little shops. Farther in town is lots of little pubs and restaurants you can go to. We chose to go to red apple and Oregon, which was just 10 minutes away from our hotel hotel. The food was delicious. It was Chinese and American. Check out time is your standard 11 AM The pool is 24 hours and they have a cute little fire pit right next to the lobby outside of course. I would Moses come back to this place because of the excellent customer service I got.

Disappointing Experience at Best Western Sandy Inn
As a Diamond Member of the Best Western Rewards program and a Licensed Travel Agent, I was incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at the Best Western Sandy Inn in Sandy, Oregon.
In mid-June, I booked a two-night stay for a trip planned for early July. Unfortunately, just two days before my check-in date, I tested positive for COVID-19. My doctor provided a note advising me to isolate and not travel for ten days.
Understanding my pre-paid non-cancellable reservation, I immediately contacted the Best Western Sandy Inn in hopes of finding a solution. Despite providing my doctor's note and giving them 48 hours notice, the hotel refused to offer a refund for my $355.20 stay.
While I booked a non-refundable rate, the exceptional circumstances surrounding a documented COVID-19 case and a doctor's directive seem like extenuating circumstances that could have warranted some form of leniency.
Furthermore, the hotel did not offer any alternative solutions, such as converting my non-refundable stay to a credit for a future visit when I would be healthy and able to travel. This lack of flexibility, particularly for a loyal Best Western customer, was particularly disheartening.
As a travel professional, I understand the importance of hotel policies. However, in situations like this where a documented illness prevents travel, a more compassionate approach would have gone a long way in building customer loyalty.
This experience has significantly tarnished my impression of the Best Western Sandy Inn. I urge the hotel to reconsider their cancellation policy for documented medical emergencies and explore ways to offer more flexibility to loyal customers in such situations.
I hope this review serves as a valuable learning experience for the hotel and encourages them to implement more customer-centric policies in the future.

Air conditioning didn’t work in our room. It blew like a fan but not cold. Front desk girl with an attitude said it was too bad as they were sold out. Husband threatened to sleep in the lobby. No apology. I did speak to the night auditor the next morning who apologized and said he’d speak to the manager. Spoke to manager a couple of days later who did a partial refund and apologized. He said we were correct in the air not working. Room was large and open and clean. I changed my rating due to the fact that the hotel manager made it right and I appreciate that.

A decent hotel, shows some age. Bed was comfortable; pillows, mattress and blankets were nice and clean. Laminate floors in room made for easy cleaning. Good water pressure in shower. USB chargers next to bed but not quick charging. It was easy to adjust the temperature in the room. Pretty quiet. Friendly staff. Average breakfast.
