There are no cameras 1st of all. I moved from another facility of theirs because I got a bigger unit for the same price. That didn't last long. Before I knew it the price sky rocketed. There is no manager on site either. Only sometimes. The door on mine doesn't shut all the way so now I have mice.

Woke up to a phone call saying all of our stuff had been stolen from the unit (thankfully they had it wrong and were looking at the wrong unit). However, I live in my truck currently so every item I own is in my unit so it was a pretty scary phone call to wake up to. Anyways, the next morning I got an email saying our rent was increased. We called many times and it was extremely difficult to get a hold of them cause they kept on transferring us to an AI assistant to make things more difficult. Long story short, they refused to work with us when we told them it was unfair and unprofessional due to the circumstances and they said that we could go to with a different storage company if we don’t like it. There are no cameras on the property except for one at the front gate and anybody with a pair of Walmart bolt cutters could easily break into any unit and get away with it because there is no form of security. Anyways this place only cares about your money and does not care to make sure your stuff is safe, the people that work at the front desk are great people but the people above them that actually run the business are shady scummy people who do not deserve a penny from anybody.

No stars 5+5 unit was damp smelling and had rat 🐀 droppings, never even moved in.
So obviously if they care for there place like this I’ll never return, at least sweep and clean a unit that will be rented.

I’ve heard good and bad reviews about this location, but Becca in the office has been nothing but helpful and friendly to me. So far we’ve had a great experience with Becca and our unit.

Becca is an outstanding person! If you have any issues with your unit or with your rental, she will do everything within her ability to help make everything right. Also, very affordable and clean units. We will continue to rent from NW Self storage in Sandy in the future.
