This company has the best customer service I have ever experienced. Mike spent as much time as needed on the phone talking me through diagnosis and resolving an issue with my furnace that was caused by operator error. He clearly communicated each step and patiently worked through a 30+ minute process to ensure that the system was running property. He also informed me about things to focus on to keep the system in top form. I left the call feeling much more informed and confident in how to use my heating system. Rixen has clearly thought ahead in how to help their customers by putting the technology into their systems that allow remote diagnostics and resolution vs having to schedule a service call or be stuck in the woods with systems down. The patience and genuine concern over resolving my issues made a huge impact on my day and week. Thank you! I am a customer for life!!

We stopped by without an appointment on 8/22 - it was a HOT Friday afternoon. Chris and James were at the shop. We are on a Van adventure, traveling from Huntington Beach CA. Our heating system is Rixen and we wanted their team to look at our system to confirm it was installed correctly by our builder. Well, it was installed upside down, which leads to a host of problems. So, the guys at Rixen made room on their calendar and pulled our van into their service bay. They had to pull out our improperly installed unit and flip it over, which was particularly challenging because all of the water and coolant lines were still connected. They spent a couple of hours tanking care of the problem. After the work was done, they took the time to explain why it would be better to move the unit inside the van and provided solutions for instal. I was particularly impressed with their professionalism and demeanor. It’s unusual to find highly skilled practioners who “fix” other people’s installed work without disparaging the “other” installer. Refreshing and appreciated. The Rixen crew are unique. Adding: I have been coming by on trips to Washington/Oregon for service check ins, and always love the friendly smiles and service. As always, great group here at Rixens. Nice expansion guys!
I was traveling and had some issue with my heating system. Without hesitation Mike walked me through some troubleshooting on the phone. When it was determined I may need to do more beyond my skill level, he offered up a service time to help that same day. They took the time to explain everything and their service and hospitality was fantastic! I highly recommend both the shop and products.

Truly epic customer service. I bought one of their kits second hand, and when something went wrong, the CEO personally talked me through diagnosing the issue and then sent me a replacement part as though I was a direct customer of theirs. Amazing!

Rixen’s was fantastic. Scheduled an appt for a service on an Espar D5 furnace. Efficient and friendly service and extremely reasonable pricing. Businesses like these are a rarity these days. Will never hesitate to give them my business.

Great service, fit me in to the schedule with a last minute service and repair. On a skiing road trip and definitely needed a working furnace! Rixen solved it and got me back on the road. Highly recommend a stop for service or repair, it was worth the two hour drive out of my way to have the pro’s fix the issue.

If you don't have a Rixen Hydronic system in your heating application, you're behind the curve! Hands down the best performing, most efficient and effective all in one solution for any application on the market.That's before even considering the team and company behind the system. A Rixen hydronic system was installed in my camper van by my builder Off Highway Van (also highly recommend) out of SLC, and I have to say the 2 issues I've had in a 2yr span the team at Rixen helped me solve over the phone when I had issues in extreme cold at high elevations that will tax any heating systems. To note, the issues I had, had absolutely nothing to do with Rixen's system itself, but in fact they were issues with installation. I put my rig through its paces, high altitude in MT and CO in -20F for weeks at a time and it just performs. When I have had an issue and contacted the company, Mr. Jim Rixen himself has called me directly to help me through troubleshooting my problem, diagnosed the issue with pinpoint accuracy, and solutions on how I could fix it while in camp. If a part is needed, the team will have it out to you anywhere in the West Coast in a matter of days out of OR. I cannot speak more highly of this team, engineering, product knowledge, customer service, and the legacy Jim has created at Rixen Enterprises. For what it's worth I spent a big part of my career as an engineering manager in electrical, cooling, and mechanical systems for the most prominent EV Auto manufacturer in the World, so I know my stuff and I can attest these folks are the real deal!
Disclaimer: Don't expect the legend Jim Rixen himself helps you with any issues directly (although I know he will), the team he's built is beyond capable of helping in any scenario presented, I just happen to get extraordinarily lucky the man himself supported me. That alone should speak volumes of what an American Made Company is about, and the point of my review is that he should be too damn busy to answer my calls because American business if off the charts for a company like this! I had never heard of Rixen Enterprises prior to owning my Off Highway Van, but both of these companies are ground up American Companies, and I will always be all in on American Built.

Rixen’s has helped us with our Revel twice- great service both times. Very friendly and helpful. First time was the dreaded “white smoke” and then a servicing when it wasn’t functioning properly a few years later. We even shipped our unit across the US to get it done when our local RV place couldn’t handle it. Promptly got the job done and back in the mail. Very patient and made great suggestions when we were trying to assess the cause of the dramatic smoke! Would do all our servicing if it wasn’t 3200 miles away!
