Such a great place! Friendly staff and good selection of books. They organize a community-wide scavenger hunt for kids, where they search for Waldo in various stores. It’s so engaging & fun. Hope this spot is around for a long time!

Wonderful bookstore in Seaside, Oregon. Besides books, they also sell puzzles, stickers, pouches, bags, postcards, magnets, silly socks & kitchen towels. My daughter and I looked through prints dating back over a century ago. They were mostly photographs of people along the Washington & Oregon coast, like a group of fishermen or children on a porch, etc. It was a glimpse into the past.
They have a good variety of books for younger readers as well as a decent selection for adults. The space also includes a connected café but their hours are limited.
It has a mezzanine which gives the place a lot of character. Beach Books is now my newest must-visit stop in Seaside.

A great place to stop while visiting Seaside. I found one of my favorite books in the whole wide world and decided to sit and read while I waited for my family to shop. I enjoyed the atmosphere and look forward to visiting again!

Sock rack covered in expletives right next to the kid’s section. Would not recommend if you’re bringing children.

This will always be the place my daughter rolled her eyes at me because I told her I wanted to read Twilight together. Thank you for having the book in stock! About 40 eye rolls later and she's now enjoying the book ❤️

The store itself is cute, but the worker was awfully rude. Girl with the very long hair and glasses was quite condescending when I asked a simple question about a book… made me feel dumb. Super disappointing considering last summer I came in and was treated nicely by the elderly woman.

Great book store. They have a wonderful selection of books for all ages. A must stop when I come to visit Seaside. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. They have fun bookish merch as well. I love the personalized notes with recommendations on them.
