So I was at Camp18 for the Pacific Model Loggers Congress. Was there from 8:30a to 5pm.1. Amazing cinnamon rolls, get everyone highly recommends and my son said there was no doubt.2. The conference space is great for the group I was there for. We had vendor tables, presentation area, displays. 75-100 people would max fit for it.3. Lunch. Wow, just wow. I had a rib eye and side salad. (I am a diabetic). And they did a great steak, cooked nicely and was able to extra veggies instead of carbs.4. The building is amazing. The ridge beam is HUGE!!!! But lets be honest all of the old school, cool school logging equipment on the property is great. I think my son and I spent an hour just walking around looking at things. So much so we missed the closing of the giftshop.A kind request: for the conference area it would be nice to have access to Wi-Fi. Would have liked to post event images and comments. There is no Verizon Cell service there, so counldn't use that.

We didn't visit the restaurant, we just visited the memorial and gift shop. The memorial is worth the stop even if you don't stop to eat.

The only reason i marked 3 on service is because they are short staffed and it took a little longer for service. For was great. Free walking museum on the property. Old logging camp that is super cool.

The cinnamon roll was sooo delicious! The restaurant also had a cool interior and I also loved looking at all the old machinery & carvings they had around the place.

Overall, it was a good experience. It sounds like from other reviews that the food is really good. I will say that the size of the hamburgers is generous and the French fries were the best part of what we tried. I ordered the chicken avocado salad... I want to say that I liked it. It was not my favorite sadly. The chicken was cold, bland and dry and it was a very basic salad. Not worth the cost in my opinion. I imagine it being fairly authentic to a salad you might find in a logging camp though. The clam chowder was delicious. The atmosphere though is incredible! The rich history and all of the amazing decor is so cool. I would definitely visit again and try the breakfast menu. One of our favorite things about this place was walking around outside afterwards. Beautiful scenery, amazing curated pieces of the logging history.Dietary restrictions: I was happy to see they offer gluten free bread for toast and sandwiches.

My fiance and I stopped here for dinner on our way home from Cannon beach. Our first time here! The food was really good but what really stood out to us was Jenny, our waitress. She was AWESOME! It’s very obvious she takes pride in her work & it was so pleasant to see that. She was so nice! Definitely will be coming back!

Can’t give any stars. The service was bad. We were not even acknowledged when we walked in. We finally got our own table then had to ask for service. Not very friendly. Took so long that we left. They Never even asked if we wanted drinks to start.

Super disappointed.Took a while to be seated, yet there was no one in front of us. Took even longer to get our order taken. Coffee mug had lipstick all over it.Actual food arrived 40 minutes after ordering. The biscuits and gravy arrived cold. The beef stew was gelatinous, the beef super crewy and tough. We were given a cinnamon roll by the waitress as an apology for taking so long, and then charged for it on the bill. Our party was 6 people, and no one enjoyed the food. Could not recommend. Understaffed. The owner was more interested in chatting with her friends and looking at an iPad than actually helping her staff.
