Been to galleries in Portland and Beaverton and this one ranks right up there. How lucky is Seaside to have this little gem downtown. There are no crafty items here, or touristy items. Just original art, from juried Oregon artists. Art is displayed as if in a home, very nice presentations, and Denise, the owner, knows the story on every piece and artist. Invest in original art from local artists.. such beauty!

Fairweather House is one of my favorite places on the Oregon Coast. With Denise's talents of display and exquisite presentation, the collection of art pieces from various artists flow seamlessly from one to the next. A truly beautiful gallery full of wonder an inspiration. A must-see whether you're a visitor or Seaside resident.

I really wanted to give this lovely gallery 5 stars. I really appreciate all the local artwork and the woman working there was very friendly when I stopped in yesterday. I bought a lovely, delicate ceramic votive, locally made. She offered to pack it up for me and hold it while I continued to shop around town. I came back for it an hour later and it was in a bag waiting for me. When I got it home and unpacked I saw that she wrapped it in only one layer of light brown paper and just stuck it in a paper bag. Of course, it was broken. I've had better packing jobs done at a Goodwill. I would have loved to give this shop a higher rating, but gallery worker should have taken much greater care in wrapping this. It was truly a piece of art and handled much too casually. It was an oversight that never should have happened. This was my last trip to Seaside --have been visiting for over 30 years and this was my goodbye gift to myself before I relocate cross country. I'm really disappointed by this.

I have been showing and selling my work at Fairweather House & Gallery for over 9 years. As an artist I appreciate Denise’s (owner and gallerist) design talent and her professional attention to detail in her beautiful gallery space. Her support over the years has been invaluable, and has helped me grow my career. I highly recommend a visit to this gallery whenever you can. You will receive a warm welcome from the gracious staff, inspiration for decorating your home, and you’ll find the most wonderful art and gifts. Denise continually rotates work and designs around seasonal themes. One visit is not enough!

Fairweather Gallery & owner, Denise, are stand up in every way. As a glass artist, I have shown my art in several galleries. I have never experienced the organization & professionalism of Fairweather. Smooth sailing. No problems!

I am one of the artist's that exhibit at Fairweather House and Gallery. I love the way my work is displayed there. When I stop by to deliver new work it's always fun to look around and see all of the other amazing things on display and the creative ways that Denise finds to present the work.

I have been represented by Denise Fairweather for over 10 years. I need to tell you that her support of diverse artists and her steadfast and reliable commitment to the Seaside community are praise-worthy. She actually does sell work and I always get that check - amazing in this business. I encourage you to enjoy the skillful presentation and inspiring creative voices in her gallery.

Denise has a decent art gallery, however, she is not very kind to her artists. I spoke to several artists who stated that she never paid them for her work. I do not want to support this type of art gallery. The artists come first.

My Darling Husband, of Over 12 + Years, and myself like to look at the Artwork in this Gallery. I was told a Couple of Times by the Woman who is the Clerk, and possibly the Owner of the Gallery... that All of the Pieces are Originals. We previously purchased Two Painted Rocks here. They are Very Beautifully Painted. My Husband and I both agreed... that they would look Good in Our Condominium. We have also purchased Painted Glass Earrings. They are Stunning, especially when the Light hits them. They are Navy, Shimmery Copper, and Fuchsia Swirled. We haven't been disappointed with any of Our Purchases here over the Years. We were told recently, that an Artist was going to give a Lecture there soon.... and that the Gallery Space was going to have LOTS of People in it. I met the Artist that will be giving the Lecture, and I asked what his Lecture was about.... he said he hadn't Written it, yet.

Visited this lovely gallery on a rainy day. It is probably the nicest shop on Broadway with local art. The theme for the works was "waves" and most of the paintings and photographic works were chosen to follow this theme. There are glass and wood pieces, lovely design gift books and throw pillows, etc. The owner was very nice.
