I loved the vintage candy boxes on the walls! So cool to see. I loved the peanut butter dipped Twinkie. OMG ?

I've been visiting Seaside since my childhood and believe the seafoam candy here is the best in the world. Please never stop making it!

In hunt for a caramel apple, this place didn't disappoint. Always a go-to during the summer months, but it was good to see that over the New Year, the shop was open and ready.A tip for the slower month's The folks told me that the apples are usually ready around 3 p.m. and sell out fast.

Cute! Tons of local fudge flavors! Tons and tons of taffy flavors although did not purchase! Friendly staff! 10/10. Awesome little spot to stop at when passing through.

I do love this place, but the owners should be aware that the walnuts that they're using in the fudge are stale and rancid. If you are going to buy nuts in bulk and store for any period of time, they must be preserved in the freezer.

Used to love stopping in this store for years prior to it being remodeled. It used to be so full of candy and nostalgia, now it is bare bones and expensive for what they do have in stock. The staff also don't show a warm welcoming attitude towards their customers. So sad to see this place go down hill over the years

Best salt water taffy we found. The separate flavours are really separate. The service was great, too.

I cannot recommend a better candy shop- especially for fudge- in Seaside. I recently went to Portland fudge company and they charged me $25 for two chunks of fudge and two Mario berry jelly sticks. Schwietert's is the trusted name for great quality fudge and be sure to pick up some penuche with black almonds while you're there- a good sized chunk is only 5.50. But there are so many more flavors and candy types to explore. Plus, they have locations all over the coast, so no matter where you find yourself, you can always buy some coastal fudge on every beach visit like I do. I have heard that their ice cream isn't the best, though, so stick to the fudge.

Outrageously expensive. They don’t even mark the prices on any of their individual candy, I was told, because “they change out often” (which they don’t — it’s just an opportunity for them to sell overpriced candy because the kids don’t find out how much it is until they get to the register and most parents won’t say never mind at that point). Flies on the taffy as it’s being made and always out of stock on things. This location used to be awesome when it was The Buzz on Broadway several years ago. We now take the kids to the Seaside Candyman instead. MUCH better experience.

The ice cream here was absolutely horrendous to see...I was craving ice cream & with the shop around the corner closed, I went searching & found this place. When I tell you the ice cream in the cases looked horrendous, I mean it. EVERY. SINGLE. OPTION. was either caked with freezer burn or completely melted into a sludge mixture that was refrozen again. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was super bummed as I was ready to buy a cone asap. I've never seen such a gross mishandling of food on display like that from a business. I didn't want to awkwardly walk right back out after entering so I walked a candy isle & when I noticed absolutely nothing was priced it was the cherry on top & I quickly left. Shame it's a prime location.

Amanda is an angel sent from the universe. Thank you for taking time to talk to me and for your suggestion on a less crowded beach today. It was absolutely perfect. It may not seem like a big deal to you, but I want you to know that you gave a mom and her special needs son the BEST day they have had in a long time.. and I hope that this fills your heart with as much goodness as I felt. Thank you for being you!

My craving for chocolate and caramel popcorn was my reason for checking out this shop. The owner and her staff were friendly, and very attentive to my husband and I. The shop has a great vibe, too. Recommend it.

Excellent fresh taffy. Many items do not have prices clearly marked...A bit pricey
