Room smelled musty. Everything was out dated. The window was cracked and the window seal looked fuzzy. It was very dirty.Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants and shops right down the street.Walkability: The promenade is super close.

Zero stars, The furniture and bed looked like they were picked up off the street. Huge stain on the carpet just inside the door, Hot tub still out of service, one elevator out of service, a giant cobweb when we walked in the front door that went to the chandelier in the middle of the lobby, and on and on and on! I slept less than half a night and woke up with my back killing me, the mattress sagged in the middle and had lumps all over. We promptly checked out early after the first night!

Today we watched an employee throw a temper tantrum and then was followed by fellow employees to beg him to return? Followed by that, the employee who threw the tantrum proceeded to kick out local kids trying to sell their tie dyes because they were dancing and having fun while he was upset! Very unprofessional! Shilo, send some people in they need help!

The amenities listed on there website are not up to date steamroom broken looks like has been broken for years. Hot tub broken. restaraunt & lounge missing but they had MOES which was listed on site also. Floor of pool had broken tiles to cut feet on but was actually open and workingRooms: The window was rusted open it could not be shut.the chairs in the room were so old if you sat in them the fabric disintegrated .found last occupants dirty towels in bathroom thanks non existent maid service. Patio door was unable to lock rustedSafety: For your own safety do not stay here! The place is falling apart literally !Food & drinks: There is noneNoteworthy details: The only reason it is not closed and condemned is that it is right on the beach. Shame to you Shilo inn for not properly maintaining the property

Rooms: Clean, great view, quiet.Nearby activities: Lots of shops, friendly staff and people on the street.Walkability: Every is within a easy walk.Food & drinks: Razor class at Pig and Pancake were NOT chewable and staff offered nothing but were sorry and the bill.Never again.

So sad and gross, black mold and it should be shut down. Drug dealers in the parking lot. You can smell the mold on the way in. 20 million behind on taxes! Should have done more research. Ugh!!Safety: It’s not safe to stay here.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Dirty, furniture and drapes were worn with holes. The outside walkway is tilted and scary to walk on let alone push a person in a wheelchair. Hot tub not working. The view was awesome though! I won't be going back. Not worth $219 a night and that was a week night.Nearby activities: Beach, boardwalk, arcades.Walkability: Easy walking access to many different restaurants, beach and boardwalkFood & drinks: Mo's is the best.

We came for our anniversary and we’re surprised to see what we got. The loft idea was unique in itself however many other thing’s definitely put us off. As seen in the fourth photo we had a view of the elevators which was easily heard through all night long. The room was falling apart at the seams and there was a horrible smell emulating from the bathroom vent that had us airing out the room. There was a toker poker of some sort on the window which was broken btw. They held the price of the room and an extra 182$ for some reason? The fan was covered in dust and debris. The blanket was obviously old and had the fluff bundled in balls. Just a very low quality room for what we paid. Will not be returning hopefully they can fix the obvious problems. Also the coke vending machine gives wrong prices.

Where do I start. Rented the executive suite for my birthday! Great view if we could see out the dirty windows. Plug ins broken , heater broken , box fan for ac , carpet dirty and tore, decor original from opening day. $299 a nightOur friends also rented a room they wanted a regular room. They opened the door to a trundle bed , 2 conference room chairs, a chair with a mini fridge on it $199 a night. It looked like an employee break room. The front desk employees were super nice . There was two elevators and one was not in working order. Pictures to follow the first 3 pictures are of our friends room. The others are our suiteRooms: The two rooms we were in were not what you would expect from what “was” a luxury reportA trifle bed from ikea is not an acceptable bed in a hotel room. Dirty, and disgusting.

Overpriced for the amenities available; hot tub is out of service, only one elevator works and have to wait forever for it, housekeeping is short-staffed so your room may not be available until 6pm (check in earliest 4pm). The Room- the "partial view" window is so filthy that you can barely see outside, both of the window latches are broken along with only one window able to open; the cabinets are in disrepair, everything is worn down and needs renovation badly. No AC, no breakfast options available. Concierge did their best and the place is clean to give the benefit of the doubt. Would not recommend.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. Where do I start?- I reserved one room, got put in a different room and they couldn't care less. We needed something to sleep 3 adults, they gave us something to sleep 2.-ALL the front desk people we interacted with were short and frustrated with us.- no phone in the room (what? This makes no sense! And safety issue???)- we were on the 5th floor, the ENTIRE walkway to the room slants more than 45 degrees. Like HUGE OSHA violation.- back deck of our room, slanted almost 45 degrees too.- so hot, no air only fireplace- bugs in the bathtub- hot tub out of order and pool cold- had to get 4 sets of keys, they just wouldn't work.- one of 2 elevators worked but moved so slowly AND made horrible sounds when it was full of people.- no breakfast or coffee or anything of any kind (the cheapest hotels I've stayed at have bags for breakfast. What the heck!)The Shilo Staff could not have cared less about all the stuff I just mentioned. There are at least a DOZEN hotels on the beach cheaper, better service, better amenities and so much safer!!!!My family goes to seaside ever couple months, this was the worst.Safety: Scary. This hotel was horrible. The walk ways to the rooms are slanting so far you could feel them give. The back porches too.
