If you need support from a Relationship Officer, Erica Jenks should be the first person you consider. She provided a stress free auto loan experience, had my best interests intended, and answered every one of my questions in order to make the best financial decision possible.
She genuinely cares about her job, and that's what makes me appreciate Onpoint. I actually feel like I'm apart of their community when I walk in because of her.
She's personable, knowledgeable, objective, and honest.
I seldom do reviews, but she deserves it.
If you're in the sherwood-Tualatin area and looking for a new bank, consider Sherwood Onpoint. I've always had a good or smooth experience going there for whatever reason.

Josh Peterson and the staff at OnPoint Sherwood are awesome! They did everything possible to help me with a fraud situation AND they have continued to help me stay out of trouble. When I "panic" about anything banking related they are more than willing to help solve the problem. Josh is my "go to" hero. As a senior adult . . I couldn't be more grateful to him and his staff!
They are AWESOME!

Would not recommend. Manager kept saying “I doubt that” and arguing with me about website experience. You don’t argue with a customer or their experience. You try to understand and help them. The menu for credit card is same as other accounts in app with no simplified “PAYMENT” button like other financial institutions. I said my Onpoint credit union location expert helps with the website and manager said “I DOUBT THAT”…good for you manager. Keep DOUGTING while your website is awkwardly designed and I take my money elsewhere. YES. My teller at my usual location works on corporate projects. What did you gain by arguing with a long term customer new to your branch? Nothing. You referred me to online—and again—Onpoint app online response seems unmonitored-because they told me I didn’t even have a rewards checking—when I do. I guess my branch of Onpoint was uniquely qualified and the staff is in tech updates because they work corporate projects. Unfortunately may have to move money elsewhere as staffing is less qualified at branches far from corporate.will be writing corporate and delivering to headquarters on Vaughn.

Every time I come in, Hallie is always greeting me with a smile and respect. She is very thoughtful and always has answers to questions I have. An example of Hallie’s kindness is when I came in to buy a handful of pennys for my 4 year old niece, who receives them whenever she is being good or doing the right thing. There was one time the bank didn’t have enough penny rolls that I asked for, I didn’t think much about it, however, a few days later Hallie called me up and said she ordered some for me and set them aside. It’s the little things like this, that make me appreciate banking with OnPoint. Everyone at the bank is so friendly to talk to, they really have some of the best staff in town!

My local branch is Tualatin, I had to stop in the Sherwood branch on a whim and Jaden was very pleasant to work with she made dealing with another branch a breeze.

I would like to whole heartedly recommend OnPoint Community Credit Union to anyone\everyone who is looking to open an account - they are top-notch in every way!!
Not only is the Sherwood location close and convenient, but it is always a great experience when I come into the branch!!! Everyone is pleasant and engaging. Nice environment. Plenty of tellers, so you don't have to wait long....ever. It's a great credit union!!
This branch also has a "spot" in the lobby for their business customers to "show case" their products.....they very much want to help their customers grow their business and prosper!! I attached a photo.
So glad to be a member!!!!

We have banked with OnPoint for around 10 years now both personal and business. Our experience has been nothing short of positive. Josh and his team at the Sherwood branch are amazing. I would recommend OnPoint without a doubt.

Sherwood OR Onpoint is fantastic. Always ready to listen and help you at any capacity. We have all of our auto loans thru OP, never have had issues with OP. we have been OP customers for over 20 years. Thanks Josh and the Sherwood team for all that you do… and always with a friendly smile.

For over a decade, OnPoint has been the best banking experience for my family and I. They have helped me with purchasing vehicles, getting credit lines, and even home buying. Josh Petersen has been my point of contact and beyond helpful with each of my banking needs. If he couldn't help directly, he paired me with one of many great OnPoint team members to help accomplish my goals. I am grateful for Josh and all that OnPoint has done.

I've been fortunate enough to be a member of OnPoint since 1995 when it was still Portland teachers credit union. I've always been pleased with their service but just had an experience that really was awesome. My work schedule has made it difficult to get to the bank with a transaction that I needed to do for the last week, and I was fighting traffic from Newberg to Sherwood trying to make it in time. I got there right as they closed and the door had just been locked and as I was dejectedly walking back to my car One of the tellers came out and opened the door and beckoned me inside. She was helpful and so kind, I could've just about burst into tears. Over the last few decades I have had checking, savings, car loan, and most recently a loan for my first house that was all done through OnPoint, and I just could not be happier with the service. Now please just put one in Newberg and everything will be right with the world :-)
