“It happens to the best of us, at one point or another. I have a vehicle stuck somewhere and need to get it somewhere else. My brush with inevitability came early on a frosty late November morning and we found our old Honda Odyssey (21 years old as of this writing) starting up in our driveway with a blinking check engine light and super-rough idle. I know just the mechanic to fix this (see my 2011 review for Brock Automotive), but--that mechanic happens to be 19 miles away from my disabled vehicle. Enter Fox Towing. I told them I needed a tow from my house to the shop in Beaverton, it's "not particularly urgent, I'm not at the side of the road or anything." He arrived pretty quickly, about 3 hours, and got the van up on the truck in about twenty minutes. I got a call a half hour later that the vehicle was being unloaded at the shop. I barely needed to move a muscle (well, I guess I got up to answer the door...) and the car was safely in the shop at around the 4 hour mark. All this for a very reasonable price. Great experience. Definitely keeping their number in my contacts list.”
