The best regional outdoor facility. I do Clay pigeons and handgun target practice.

While the membership and certs can be a little pricey, I can't say that it isn't worth it. They have a very impressive and well kept property full of almost, almost, every discipline you would want to train in. Being that their location is not that far from civilization, they are very serious about safety, and your infractions of any of their strict safety guidelines is met with a very necessary severe response. One stray bullet can shut the entire club down and cause legal ramifications. I love that I can bring my family here and feel that the RSO's here are going to be faithful to enforce their safety guidelines. I say all this because, if you're not used to shooting on a property that upholds it's safety rules seriously, the staff can come across as cold and condescending, but I can assure you they are the opposite of that. I recall bringing a shotgun with a box of slugs to the General Purpose range and one of the RSOs helping me with a chamber flag, they set up their range finder, and helped me with my shots. That kind of help and courtesy is what I've come to expect. There hasn't been a time I have visited this property that I didn't meet new people and had encouraging conversations with staff. Very much worth every penny.

I used to live literally across from it in Sherwood. As a former Marine I greatly regret not joining and have generally only heard positive things regarding it. 5 stars based on what I know and word of mouth.

I will NOT be renewing my membership. I have had several encounters with overzealous or just plain rude RSO's, and if you bring it up to management, they make you feel like you're the bad guy (how dare you criticize one of them). It is not an enjoyable shooting experience when your every move is being watched and scrutinized. I understand watching for safety violations, but I've had them come out to tell me my muzzle wasn't far enough past the firing line. It's too bad because it's a nice range, the people there just suck.

Went as guest. Beyond professional environment. Ranger officers are diligent and very knowledgeable. Plan on putting my self on the waiting list for membership. Which sounds like it'll be a wait. Though very worth it.

People who move next to a shooting range then complain about noise are a special breed. Haha very solid range.

The waitlist is 1.5-2 years. Find a friend that’s a member, join the wait list and the time will fly by.They have a ton of rules. Some of them do seem silly, you can ask any range officer about any of the rules. They will tell you the very justified reasons for their rules. This is a very well equipped shooting range that is very close to a lot of residential and business areas. The rules are to protect the marksman AND the lives of everyone that lives around the club. There’s a lot of comments about the range officers being rude, arrogant and demeaning. I’ve been going here long enough to confidently say that the staff give you their best. They make the rounds regularly and they are happy to chat if they have time to do so. If you are breaking the rules you will be politely informed of any corrective actions that are needed. This process is done from a place of caring and concern, not from a place of belittling.

First time being at a gun range and was not that impressed. The entry gate was also the exit (they blocked off the exit gate - why? Idk) so it took a long time to leave. NRA membership is required as well. They need better signs as it’s easy to get lost. The part of hr range I went to had mostly gravel with tons of potholes that were impossible to miss. The one staff member I interacted with was friendly and they had several ranges.

The best Gun Club in the greater Portland metro area. A number of ranges including shotgun, black powder, rifle, pistol, archery, and an indoor range for .22's. Membership is required and there is a wait but it is well worth it!

I've been here about 2 dozen times . Never had a bad experience at all , with anyone . Now I'm a member and I still have had no issues. Don't do d*** stuff with guns and they will leave you alone. Shoot the paper targets and follow rules . ✊?

This is NOT your "weekend trip to the woods with your bros" type of place. If you're looking for a wild-west style, no-rules, kind of place, keep looking as this isn't it. However, if you're patient and want to become a member of a great group of people who are serious about safety and enjoying firearms, then you'll be right at home. First, patience. If you're not a patient person, you won't last the waiting period. There is a limited number of available slots available, so the wait list can seem daunting, however be patient, your time will come! Secondly, you'll need to pass an online knowledge test, then attend not only an orientation, but an evaluation as well. After you've successfully navigated this journey, you will be awarded your ID badge which affords you access to most of the range complex. You'll need to be qualified in specific disciplines to utilize those ranges. All of this information is detailed on their website. Now that I'm a member, I look forward to ringing some steel and putting some holes in paper at greater distances than 50 feet!
