This UHaul facility is amazingly clean and friendly. I rented a couple lockers. I also rented a beautiful Ford Van one day too, and it was an amazing experience. I love the people here. They are a UHaul family, and they made me part of their family, and made a very difficult time much easier. They have an excellent stock of anything you could ever need also. Thank you so much!

The truck's cab stunk of old cigarette smoke when we picked it up. Car rental agencies don't allow smoking but I guess UHaul does. Otherwise the truck was fine.
The return experience, however, was awful. We returned it about an hour before the 24 hour rental period was up but they incorrectly logged our return in at 1:10 pm, not 11:10 am. That resulted in them charging us an extra day for the truck, safe move, utility dolly, etc. Plus they charged us a $25 cleaning fee, which is ridiculous because we swept and cleaned out the truck before we returned it.
I called the location to get this corrected, explaining what we thought was the reason for the overcharge. Mistakes happen and it's easy to understand how this error occurred; whoever keyed it in simply forgot to hit an extra "1" to record the return time correctly. I told him what we should have been charged, which was about $120 less than our bill. He told me that it was up to the manager to decide if we were due a credit. He gave me a claim number and said that if we didn't hear from the manager within 3 days' time, we were to contact customer service.
I called our credit card company to put the charge in dispute. I explained what we thought had happened, gave the amount that we should have been charged, and then faxed the bill to them.
We got an email from the UHaul manager the next day stating that he had authorized a $100 credit. There was no explanation about how he arrived at that amount, nor was there an apology for the inconvenience, nor any attempt to maintain good will with us. Additionally, the credit was still shy of what it should have been so they were still overcharging us for the rental. I worked in customer service for years. I know what is and is not good customer service. I also know that it takes a lot of time and energy to remedy a customer service failure. They prove costly in the long run. We've rented from this location several times in the past but we will not use them in the future.

I went to this store looking for propane and the people who have it say that they don't know how to fill it, that the person who is in charge of it arrives later
So when they hire them, do they train them? Or does Uhaul hire people who don't know how to do the things they were hired to do?

Ricki, echo and the whole gang are awesome. Customer service was excellent. It was like borrowing from a friend, with a quick legal contract thrown in for everyone's safety. Would do again and again.

This location should pay more attention to the condition of their equipment before it is rented out. There was a large dent on the back of the truck I rented before I drove it off the Uhaul lot, I saw it and took pictures and a video of the damage and other preexisting damage on the truck before I left. I returned the truck and was left with a large fine for the large dent that was already there. Fortunately I was able to show the employees at this Uhaul the proof of the preexisting damage and had the fees retracted.... Had I not had proof, I would still be out $150!!

I have been over charged by u-haul every time I’ve been. My fiancé did the exact same rental as me and was charged $39 and I was charged over $170. Horrible.
