“I contacted the owner with my concerns regarding the "Check Engine Light" and my car bucking when accelerating. He promptly scheduled me for an appointment at 8AM the following day. I requested a tune up at the same time since it had been over a year since the last one. An hour after I dropped my car off the owner, Rick Herbert called and said the problem was diagnosed and would be ready for me to pick up the following morning. He also added that the car DIDN'T need a tune up, the plugs and plug wires were fine and the engine was running according to specs. A less than honest mechanic would have put new plugs and wires on and charged me for a tune up which I didn't need. I was more than pleased with the total car care provided by this business.”
“We've used Auto Doctors for several years, starting with our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country! The AC went belly up, after a quick diagnosis, they informed us what the problem was with pricing! They completed the repair on time and no extra charge. Next, we had the struts and shock absorbers replaced on time, no extra charge. They thought they were going to have to replace the wiper motor and was able to reset to the factory settings! Today they replaced the thermostat in an hours time. We highly recommend Auto Doctors, thank you Jade and Ty!!!Oh by the way, it's worth the drive from Lincoln City to Newport!”

“Now Caliber, not Main. I have dealt with these folks in Corvallis with great results. This was our first experience with the South Beach group. Could not be more pleased. My wife had removed some paint from our garage door and deposited it on my car. Steve buffed it out on the spot, applied a sealant, and would not accept payment. I have had good experiences with Caliber in two locations, and I am sold on their service. Heaven forbid we have a collision, but if we do, I know where I will seek repairs.”

“I saw a vehicle posted online that didn’t have any pictures so I called the dealer and got in touch with Ken. From the get go, he was very helpful with getting pictures, videos and answering my questions. I’m out of state, so I needed that information as I couldn’t just drive down the street and take a look at the vehicle. Ken let me know that they were not going to fix the car due to its age and were going to wholesale it, but if I wanted to buy it, I could. I ended up driving down to look at the vehicle in person so that I could make an informed decision. Ken was off that weekend, but when I got to the dealership, Teal helped me out and went on a test drive with me. He was very professional and helpful, even though he wasn’t the salesman that was helping me. Unfortunately I passed on that vehicle due to the repairs, but if you’re looking for a vehicle, I’d recommend Ken or Teal in a heartbeat. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. Sorry things didn’t work out gentlemen, but I wanted to thank you for the outstanding service and help you both provided!”

“Just bought a car from SunWest, and it was an altogether pleasant experience, completely defying all the stereotypes about car dealerships. I worked with Teal (sales rep), Jana (finance) and Jeff (management), all of whom were informative and no-pressure.
I went to SunWest in large part because of the recommendations from local Mazda and Honda owners who'd worked with them.
My previous dealership-interactions at other places were some time ago, and not always great, so I was wary about going into this car buying project. However, I'll compare this one quite favorably with my purchase of a Saturn in 2006. Remember Saturn? There was one price at all dealerships for a given model - no negotiating, just straightforward sales with no pressure. This experience at SunWest was similar: very pleasant, easy, no pressure, fair price, no time wasting, none of that notorious (and stereotypical) experience of being jerked around between the sales rep and the manager. Everyone was great to work with, and of course I love the car too (2024 Mazda CX-5)

Very reasonable prices for a guy who is a wizard with vehicle repair. Not only is he good at what he does, he's also a veteran. Stand up shop and I absolutely recommend.”
