Women getting mammograms at Silverton Hospital, BEWARE. I went in for a mammo on a day in August 2024 when no one was there to read the results. The next day, when someone WAS there, I was called back in because they wanted two more pictures. Same room, same technician, same machine. But that second visit was coded in a way that my insurance would not pay for. Now, several months and many phone calls later, no one will admit to the error, and I am stuck with the bill. Will not be going to Silverton Hospital for my next mammo.

Wait time is just as bad as Salem Hospital emergency room. Horrible care! Don't recommend.

Absolutely horrible! Doctors and nurses were so rude! My partner and I came here because my partner has stomach issues and was vomiting blood. He has had issues with stomach ulcers in the past and has vomited blood before which was exactly like today. The nurse in the triage room looked at the bloody vomit and said there was no blood in it (when I know FOR A FACT that there was). She wouldn’t listen to me when I tried to tell her his symptoms. He has been sick for days and doesn’t have much energy, I ask him a lot of questions to gather his symptoms before going to the ER just in case he forgets to say all of his symptoms. She kept getting annoyed with me trying to help him convey his symptoms. She just kind of ignored what I had to say and made us feel very unimportant.
We were in the waiting room for about 2 hours when there were only 4 other people in the lobby.
We finally got back into a room and waited for another hour just for the doctor to say he’s fine, the doctor wouldn’t even write him a doctors note! Jesse Bohrer-Clancy, MD, was very rude and highly recommend you don’t allow him to work with you. He was no help. I tried to tell him that my partner is hard of hearing (he is 1/3 deaf) and he just ignored me and continued to talk so quietly I could barely even hear the man.
I’m absolutely pissed!

Had about given up until I went to Silverton hospital emergency. They kept me for 3 days and set up a program for me. I am now back playing golf, have gained back 22 pounds of the 60+ that I lost, I'm not using a walker or a cane and I'm taking daily walks with my dog. Great care and food. Thank you for giving me my life back!!!

It has took me now almost 10 months to finally come on and write this review because this event was so traumatic on January 10th me and my husband woke up to find are almost 3-year-old son lethargic barely responsive we drove from Salem to Silverton because we've been there many times before and they always treated him very well our son has autism and God was looking out for us this day and as soon as we got into the ER the last doctor who had seen our son was the one who came out to look at him and he knew that our son typically fought at doctor's office due to his autism and that his behavior of letting him touch him and such this morning was not normal, He couldn't stand walk anything by this point they immediately took him back found that he was hypothermic, proceeded to try to get an IV they couldn't because of him being hypothermic they informed us we had to do an IO they were very quick acting with this while explaining to us what was happening and why they were doing what they were doing they did not know what was wrong with him but a few minutes after placing the IO or son started to code immediately multiple doctors and nurses came rushing into the room and they also had a whole line of staff outside the room in case more assistance was needed, as a mom I was completely distraught crying asking what was wrong with my baby begging them to save him as a mother I can't explain the experience and what it felt like in that moment besides pure hell agony and helplessness, a super kind caring nurse came and set me in a chair across the room and talked me through every step of what they were doing and why ,you could see the absolute horror and pain on each doctor's face and the urgency for them to save him, and within 2 minutes they had him back breathing , his heart rate back up, and him coming back to consciousness, All because 2 incredible doctors first told them to administer him antibiotics because we all thought he was possibly septic though he hadn't been sick and when that did not bring him back a doctor their guessed, and gave him dextrose, Our boy had extremely low blood sugar, Now 10 months later we know what was wrong with him, but then we didn't but Silverton Hospital their doctors their nurses and their staff did absolutely everything that they could for our son in such an urgent way that day and if it were not for them our son would not be alive today, they gave me the greatest gift ever which was saving our son, I will never forget those doctors and nurses and especially the nurse who cared enough to sit with me and explain everything that was going on to me and I begged her to be truthful with me and she was even when it was hard to hear, and I'd also like to say beyond just that day we had taken our son to Silverton Hospital multiple times he was born there, and he has always been treated as caring as they possibly could they never made it seem like his autism wasn't annoyance ,no matter how hard he fought them and how difficult it was to give him treatment. I honestly am shocked that this hospital has such a low review on here because I have got nothing but the most gratitude I owe them everything for saving my baby's life. So thank you Silverton Hospital and staff in the emergency room for what you did for me and my husband and our son that day along with the rest of our family too. ❤️

A newly remodeled hospital that is now part of Legacy Medical Group. They have a cafeteria and a gift shop inside. The parking lot is small but there is a lot across the street as well

Hey, great job Sheri (or Cheri) with my mammogram today! Please give her a raise because she is a keeper!
Also, the check-in process is great, friendly, fast. I appreciate the folks checking for weapons at the door, they are doing a great job. I love the new look & facilities, and I don't have to wait too long for my appts. Thank you to all!!

The birthing center has always been so amazing and very attentive. I was born at the Silverton hospital myself. My daughter was born there two years ago and now my son to be will be born there very soon. The staff is very kind, caring, responsive, and professional. The ER area itself is definitely an excruciating wait time however that can be expected if understaffing is happening. All the doctors and staff give undivided attention when working with patients one on one time.

I would absolutely give 5 stars for L&D. They are amazing and caring staff. However the ER still needs a lot of work. To only have one Dr for an entire floor is ridiculous. I took my infant in. And we waited in our room for longer than an hour without seeing anyone to check her vitals. The only time they came to our room was to shut the door because she was crying. And we overhead complaining about how we brought a crying baby into the hospital from the staff. And to be interrupted when the Dr is finally able to come in to talk to us, for a phone call, is honestly ridiculous. I'm extremely disappointed, constantly, with the visits to this emergency room.

Wife went in there for her 6 month pregnancy check up and told her nurse something along the lines of “I’m excited to meet her” (our soon to be new born daughter) and the nurse said IT doesnt have a pronounce yet, that IT hasnt decided what IT is yet.
I totally respect people identifying to whatever it is they identify as but you DO NOT try and rub it on other people.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
you have caused nothing but tears.
