Everything was excellent! The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The room was private with a patio, it was very clean. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful and served in the dining room ; it was not pack and go! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The views were beautiful and the Oregon Garden was next door to stroll through. Not one complaint.

Great place to stay! Food is dreadful! Definitely don't eat here. Cold, bland; not a professional chef.

This was our post-Anniversary trip, I've always wanted to visit this place and it is spectacular! I love the Fireside Lounge and the ambience of it all. The lights this time of year are gorgeous. You can just take it all in...I highly recommend coming here!

A bit out of the way but 100% worth the drive. Amazing clean and spacious rooms, and beautiful surroundings. Stay at least 2 nights as the area is super cute too. Great restaurant and fantastic staff. Such a restful place unexpectedly in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful!!!!

We were driving to our Palm Springs winter home and love making it into a vaca/road trip. That can be hard to do depending on route and stopping points. Found this gem after staying at the Moonstone property in Cambria on a different trip. Exactly what I was looking for. We got their brewery special which included two beers and appetizer in their lodge like bar with a roaring fire. Perfect for a cold Nov evening. Christmas lights were going up throughout the property for an upcoming Christmas market that looks to be spectacular so especially festive. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant and they have live music in the bar every evening. We didn’t stay but for a partial song but it sounded great. Frank Lloyd Wright has a home as you enter the garden properties. I’m sure the Oregon Garden would be spectacular in the summer months. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back!

What a charming hotel. They were preparing for the Christmas market and the grounds were decorated with lights. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a fireplace and antique furniture that I loved. Dinner was good; live music in the lounge was lovely. Breakfast was beyond the basic offerings at other hotels of similar price. All the staff and our waitress were friendly. Nearby Silver Falls State Park was quite the beautiful hike. We would love to come back.

On the road less travelled happened upon this great little getaway from life, highly recommended, friendly staff, with a great breakfast. Silverston is a quick jaunt off the I5 and worth the detour I promise you.

Overall the room and resort were great. It would be nice to be able to adjust the speed of the overhead fan. Got fairly warm in the room even with no heat on.. The bed was great. Best pillows at a any hotel I have stayed at. Very clean and comfortable.

With the amount of money spent, I was sadly disappointed in the experience. Our room was nice and clean enough, but for what they charge it was far from luxury and could use some updates. The furniture was worn and shabby, the paint was chipped in several places. The bed and shower were great 5/5, and the fireplace was nice, but the rest was basic. We had booked massages for Saturday and the therapist didn’t show up to work so we got cancelled. They did provide a gift certificate for the inconvenience. The restaurant was really not great either. The waitress was not appropriately dressed for a nice restaurant, her tank top was slipping down to reveal her bra. She didn’t come back after our food was dropped off for at least 15 minutes. She never refilled our waters. The steak was way overcooked (ordered med rare and received well done) and we had to ask for a new one. The shrimp was way over salted and overcooked. The mashed potatoes had big chunks of undercooked potato. The vegetables side was really bad, and tiny. Overall disappointment for the price of an upscale restaurant. The breakfast buffet was decent, and since they’re not offering room service right now, they gave us to go boxes to take it back to our room. Our time there was ok, but when you spend as much money as we did, you expect better quality. The thing that bumped it from a 2 to a 3 for me was that all of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were staying on the OR coast when we had to change to an earlier flight. We needed something closer to Portland without being in Portland. We found this place an hour from the airport. WOW, this place was beautiful. Wish we had more than 12 hours there. looking for when we can return for more time. Lounge was awesome with a huge fireplace, restaurant was great with nice views and great food, Staff was beyond friendly. Even with a small issue it was fixed immediately with no issues. The room had a King bed, and a fireplace and a small sitting area out back to enjoy the cool weather. Plenty of parking just plain relaxing.

I was so comfortable here, and this was the best value lodging I can remember having in years, maybe ever. I paid over twice as much for blah chain motels next to the noisy interstate as I continued on my trip. This is set within the 80 acre Oregon Garden, and near the very cute town of Silverton. It's a very quiet area--there is zero road or traffic noise. The rooms are in separate, small one-story buildings separated by garden areas, so you never have footsteps above you. The room itself is probably the same quality as a Hampton Inn, etc, but you do also get a private patio and free parking near your room. The free breakfast is similar to but better than what you'd get at the chain hotels. The free EV charging was terrific to have. Even on a weeknight in October, the lobby and lounge areas felt very convivial.

Older rooms.. very outdated features. Gave it 2 stars because it is clean. The bathroom sink and tub had slow drains. Refrigerator freezes everything. “Free” breakfast was just ok. No toast offered in the morning.. packet of oatmeal or runny eggs and over cooked sausage were the choices.. wish they offered menu items

My wife and I stayed here during Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel and it was an excellent experience. The resort itself is secluded but close to town so you don't have to contend with road noise at night. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was delicious, service was swift, and there were excellent view while we dined. The Fire Side Lounge was a great spot to wind down the evening with a nightcap. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to book again for next year.

Oregon garden resort is a gem! Stayed for Oktoberfest/a little staycation and this surpassed my expectations. They had live jazz playing at the lounge, the restaurant was delicious with beautiful garden views. The pool and spa was clean and a very easy walk. The rooms were clean, comfortable, had a little private patio and I’d like apartment style with a fireplace and flat screen tv. The free breakfast was simple but delicious! Will be back next year?Rooms: Rooms are kinda like apartment style in the sense it’s single ground location, you have your own patio and in our experience it was very quite. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, mattress was a bit more on the soft side but, still slept well. My partner liked how with the tvs when you turn them on it goes straight to “what’s playing now” as opposed to dealing with a weird tv guide.Nearby activities: Oktoberfest, Oregon gardens, golf, downtown silverton, slilverfalls, moonstone spa.Safety: This property is huge but felt very safe, quaint and adorableWalkability: Restaurants and spa is in propertyFood & drinks: The food at the restaurant was wonderful! Also the free breakfast simple but quite pleasantNoteworthy details: 11 mins from Mt angel, restaurants and spa on location. Gardens are viewable from the hotel but unfortunately the gardens are no longer managed by the hotel so admission is not included

Just stopped in with friends for a drink. Restaurant didn't open til 5, so we had drinks and appetizers in the bar. Was hot outside, so management had the outside patio closed, which was disappointing. But the bar/lounge is really spacious, but cozy feeling. You order at the bar, but they bring your orders. Beautiful property, restaurant has gorgeous views, with tiered seating, so no matter where you sit, you've got a view to the mountains, and there's outdoor seating there, too.Rooms: There are rooms in the lodge, and intimate cottages on the grounds. This is a fabulous place!
