She has a shop cat, and it smells like cat urine inside. The cat was playing with pieces of the dress while making adjustments to the alterations, which could have ruined the dress in itself. I don’t mind animals at all, but I didn’t like that I had to spend well over 30 minutes plucking cat hair out of the dress. The dress turned out pretty decent other than a tear she couldn’t fix on some of the lace and a couple of loose buttons, and thankfully didn’t smell like a litter box.

Experience was a nightmare. A huge lack of communication and then when you were finally able to reach her she told you one thing and then would say something totally different at the appointment. She was not friendly and overcharged for the low quality we received. Would not recommend unless you need additional stress for your wedding.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Sue is absolutely amazing at what she does! She helped me on my wedding dress and and after talking about what I should have done to it she made it look absolutely perfect on me, she is truly the best and kindest person with the cutest little shop!

All the good things to say about this place and owner. Sue works very quickly to help adjust even the smallest things. I worked with her for my wedding dress, and she made my dreams come true. Sue was even very accommodating when last minute my mom needed her dress altered. Not only is her work amazing, she is very kind and has the cutest space. Thank you so much Sue! I will send pictures as soon as I get them. :)

I have called multiple times a week for over 3 weeks to try to make an appointment. Not once has she answers her phone, and her voicemail box is always full so you can’t leave a voicemail for a return call.Edit: within 2 hours of making this review, she reached out to me and is able to get me in within 24 hours for an appointment. So I upgraded from 1 to 3 stars.

My friend suggested this place for altering my wedding dress, and I though it was just going to be the basic alterations: length, width, train, cup inserts, etc. However, when I got screwed over by the bridal shop, I needed a lot more than just the basic alterations. Everything about my wedding dress was great, except the back. The reason, I chose the one I chose was because it had a low back with these beautiful embellished straps that criss cross.But the one I received had all the criss cross straps in the back connected by sheer tulle. I hate tulle. I was told other alterations people that it would not be possible to remove with tulle without compromising the entire structure of the dress.But when I took the dress to Sue, she explained to me that it would be possible to remove to the tulle as well as do the other regular alterations. And she didn't even need a ton of time to do it either.Before taking the dress home, she had me do a final try on to make sure I loved everything about it, and I did. The straps on the back hung beautifully without that ugly tulle holding them in place. Finally, Sue's prices are super reasonable. For everything that she did, the bill wasn't more than a couple hundred, for cheaper than any other alterations place.We were a little hesitant about this place at first partially due to the long drive to Silverton. But trust me guys, the drive is worth it. Sue will not disappoint.

I had purchased some skirts for a cruise and traveling. I needed pockets that would be especially none accessible to pick pockets. Also hemming done. All was completed excellently and timely! The pockets worked as planned no worries! She is a marvelous resource especially for a small town.

Sue is amazing! She did amazing work on my wedding dress and my Maid of Honor's dress. She works quickly and can answer any questions you may have. She was very kind and made my dress fit like a glove! Her prices are fair and she is great at communicating via email, over the phone and in person. I'd definitely recommend She's the Cat's Meow to any friend or family member looking for someone to due alterations. Thank you, Sue!

Sue was great! She was very accommodating with my schedule and fitting needs. Sue was sweet, caring and genuinely focused on making my big day special with my dress fitting perfectly. They were simple alterations, and she also was great with my Bridesmaid's dresses. Sue made my flower girl a adorable tutu for the ceremony. Absolutely the best! So happy going to her for my wedding.
