This is a fantastic hotel for what it is. It's old enough to have some character (fire sprinkler pipes below the ceiling, real paintings hanging on the walls) but still recently remodeled and well maintained. I like that the mattress was firm and our room had a real kitchenette. The restaurant and lounge looks fantastic but we were there in the off season so it was closed on Sundays. Guess we'll have to go back, haha!Nearby activities: It's at the end of the main drag, so if it's in Silverton it's walking distance from this hotel.

Internet does not work, even after changing rooms. Had to go to Starbucks or the library to get onto my computer. TV is a joke! Can not get any local or national LIVE tv. All available channels (without having a Pluto TV account) are just previous program loops. ABC, CBS, NBS are only news programs that repeat over and over and over. [You only need to watching CBS Sunday Morning, or Meet the Press once, but service will show it over and over and over.] Nothing local and nothing live. Want to watch football? go to a bar. Want to watch something other that news or program re-runs? Go to a different hotel.Website is very deceiving, no real information that only 2-3 rooms have kitchens. No kitchenettes and many refrigerators are dorm sized. Room size also not well informed.Best thing about this place it is right downtown so you can walk to the restaurants and shops. For more than 3-4 days go somewhere else.

My husband and I made the decision to book the "honeymoon suite" for our wedding weekend, held at a beautiful venue in Scott Mills. The night before our wedding, my husband and his groomsmen stayed in the suite to ensure we could spend the evening apart. The following night, after our wedding reception with a magical sparkler exit, we returned to the hotel, excited to spend our first night together as husband and wife. However, upon opening the door to our room, our joy quickly turned to disappointment and frustration. To our dismay, we found our room untouched since the previous night's stay. The promised roses and champagne were nowhere to be seen, and the remnants of the previous night's celebration were scattered throughout the room. The unmade bed and beer bottles left behind painted a stark contrast to the romantic atmosphere we had anticipated. For a small establishment like this, failing to ensure the proper servicing of any room is disappointing. However, it is especially disheartening when it happens to be the honeymoon suite, for which we had paid a substantial $600 per night. This oversight not only fell short of our expectations but also marred what should have been one of the most memorable nights of our lives. When we confronted the manager, their explanation was bizarre. They claimed that guests now had to request room cleaning due to issues under the previous owner's management. This departure from industry norms left us perplexed, especially since my aunt's room, also at the hotel for the wedding weekend, was cleaned without request.Adding to our disappointment, the manager was rude and unapologetic during our interaction. His unprofessional conduct left us frustrated and bewildered.

Close to everything, clean rooms, friendly staff. A lot to like here. Parking can be a challenge during the day but clears up in the evening.

This property is in a great location and the hotel could be so much better if the issues we experienced are resolved. Not enough supplies were provided for four people staying four nights (1/2 roll of toilet paper, very little dish washing soap, not enough towels and some were stained with dirt and blood). The counters and floors were filthy. The utensil holder and drawers were also dirty and three very used sponges were left for our use. With no one in the office.....we went and purchased our own supplies and we cleaned the room thoroughly before our 7 year old played on the floor. We also had to wash all dishes and the coffee pot before we used them. Housekeeping was way below the standard of what hotels should now be....especially after COVID. The parking area was small and shared by the restaurant patrons....forcing guests to park in the street. Our room was right next to the smoking area so we were never able to leave our windows open for fresh air. Not sure why the smoking area isn't on the other side of the property where they don't open the windows. After two days we let the manager know of the issues we were experiencing. He brought towels, garbage bags, one roll of toilet paper and dish soap. He offered to let Housekeeping come in and clean, but we didn't want anyone in our room while we were there and we had already cleaned. We should have never experienced these issues to begin with. Hopefully....future guests will not have to go through what we had to take care of ourselves.Walkability: At the time that we stayed.....the only thing great about the property was the location.

They took such great care of us! We got stuck in the snow and couldn’t get back to our cabin in the state park. They took us in last minute and even got tooth brushes for us. The room was great!

Been here many times and just gone down hill. Some guy hardly speaks English and is very rude and aggressive. Prices are jacked up now. Room was dirty smelt like old feet. Again been coming here for years and had great experiences.... but maybe they got new ownership?? Because this isn't the small family business I remember. Everyone use to be nice and friendly and I had multiple encounters, with that guy who I can't understand and I think he's the only one who works there and I just Don't recommend. Not friendly very uncomfortable, demanding.. maybe it's his culture I think he's Arabian but no one likes to get treated bad when they are paying 299 plus tax a night. Save your money.

So nice! To start- the front desk ladies were incredibly friendly, kind, accommodating and helpful. We were last minute on a holiday due to unforeseen circumstances and they went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable place to stay for the few nights we were in town. The room is lovely. Clean, well decorated, love the tile floor, small kitchenette, bathroom is very clean. Bed was so comfortable!Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our stay, room and beds super comfortable! Pet friendly and all staff friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with the bathroom and they responded quickly. There is a restaurant on site but also so many places within walking distance. It takes you off I-5 so be prepared to see farmlands until you arrive. Able to go to Silver Falls State Park for hiking and to the Oregon Garden! We had a room with a full kitchen and everything provided, pots, dishes, utensils. We even did laundry a block away. Would love to come back!
