“I was camping at a dispersed site in the Whychus Scenic Area South of Sisters by myself (Female) when my car wouldn’t start. My car dash said my AWD system needed checked. I called Three Creeks and he said he believed it was my battery and wanted to come to try jumping it before towing to a mechanic. After getting off the phone I remembered I had a battery pack jumper so I found it and checked it. It had a 75% charge. I connected it and was able to start my car. I called Three Creeks back and told him about the battery pack and that my car was started. He was happy for me. He didn’t make me feel stupid. He wasn’t irritated I had wasted his time. He advised me on places to go to get a new battery. As a woman who struggles with people pleasing and has had many negative experiences with male contractors, mechanics, landscapers, etc., I sincerely appreciated how he spoke to me.”
