I found out that you are 60 cents more per gallon than the other provider in our area. We paid significantly more for propane than we would pay down the street to have a bbq tank filled at the gas station. And, when I called, I could not be given a delivery day.

DO NOT GET PROPANE HERE! Had service filling tank at my home. 1st couple times was fine then they jacked up the rate and kept telling me it was “market rate”… for that day. $4.80/gallon! Kept getting run around after calling customer service. Total B.S. Every other fill has been $2.50/gal range the last 2x prior. Called other places and nobody has it that high. Totally unethical business practices. Would NOT recommend getting propane here or doing business with AmeriGas. Very poor experience. UPDATE: Company response to my original post was B.S. I emailed them information directly as they requested and never even got a response. DO NOT BUY PROPANE FROM AMERIGAS!! UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTICES. See canned customer service response apologizing but doing NOTHING to actually solve the issue.

We have had the same experience as others note. we are now 2 days beyond the delivery date Amerigas provided us (February 20, 2023), which includes a four day window of time. We have called their local #, which routes to the Philippines for their call center. not being local, all they do is take your name and account # and file it away, no response or update on delivery status. Oh yeah, they also take your money ahead of time, its a term called \"money for services not rendered\". If you own your tank, I would recommend switching service providers. I cant even ask for my money back as they don't process those requests through their call center....this has been fun!

Submitted online request on December 6th and our tanks didn't get filled until January 5th. The reason why our tanks got filled was because my husband drove to their Springfield office and talk to the local delivery person. The delivery person told my husband that he had no record of our online request or request of any kind even though I called in three times talking to a customer service about how our tanks weren't filled after two weeks and were told that we were put on emergency delivery request but we were never put on the emergency delivery request. Had my husband not stop by the Springfield office, our tanks would run empty and not get delivery still.

It’s been over a MONTH since we ordered to fill our tank. We have since ran out of propane. We call every day and only get the run around. They tell us they will be delivering the next day and never show up. They have even called me to let me know my delivery is on the way……… and then never show up. It’s getting ridiculous. And to top it off they charged us an additional $400 on top of the $1500 to deliver the propane!!! Great customer service ????UPDATE: still no propane. Even though they told us on Friday of last week they would deliver Tuesday this week. Was told to email them, and still nothing ?

Since the closing of the local office, calling in/scheduling online deliveries is not effective. The last two deliveries each took weeks and multiple calls to actually get accomplished. Notes written for driver are never read (as they say, "call this number before coming").

AmeriGas Propane has become a company that is too big and can not provide individual service from its local distributor, so you cannot even talk with your local provider. You get shunted to some one who you cannot even understand what they are saying.

Ordered three weeks ago, called several times to someone in China, they promises expedited delivery, still nothing. They took my payment by credit card before promising delivery, but it looks like I have been scammed. If I ever get my payment reversed I will never fall for this scam again.

Fast to come out and setup everything up for you to get started. But after that, good luck as they have no local or even US contacts for you to talk too, nor do they have any walk-in locations around here. They not only didn't restock us after being put on a 24-Hour emergency refill(due to forgetting to come restock our company) they put us on a 24-Hour emergency for 4 days with no refill yet. If you want service than Amerigas is not for you

WIsh i could rate this with ZERO STARS, our business has been out of propane currently for 3 days, we were promised a 24 hr emergency fill on Saturday which would have put us at a fill on Sunday...... of course we still don't have propane for our customers or for use in our forklifts and we are know having to go buy from our competitiors just to run our forklifts for business.

Worst company ever. Disgusting customer service , good luck trying to talk to some one on the phone .They never show up to fill our tanks on time we have to send employees down to the gas station once a week to fill our tanks. Hank Hill would give them a big thumbs down .I am getting a quote from blue Star gas right now.

Impossible to contact. Three days on phone, several hours each day. Phone numbers they provide always loop to wrong division. Close to local office but doors closed and sign saying no local contacting.

I have fallen victim to being an AmeriGas customer. It's been over 2 weeks since I ordered. They actually 'tried' to deliver. They pulled down the driveway and saw 2 dogs behind the gate, where the tank is. They turned around and left. I was home. The driver stated the gate was locked. The gate has never been locked. I called and they scheduled a delivery for the next day. Expedited. Guess what. No show. No call, no show, I have no idea if they will deliver. Now no delivery as we've had too much snow. (I think AmeriGas relies upon the commercial clients and don't really want retail clients). Do not use this company. Use some of the other great propane vendors in the area. BTW AmeriGas will be the most expensive. Don't become a victim. This is not the first time we've had delivery problems with AmeriGas, just the first time I finally became frustrated enough to write a review.
