Shady business. They'll sell garbage that doesn't work, give receipts void of any return policy, and only offer worthless credit so you can get something else from them that probably won't work either.

My bf car was towed when he wrecked on a residential and hit a mailbox and a bush in a front yard. He was not hurt at all. Not any significant damage to his car. Just mailbox down and bush was damaged.. He WASN'T ON DRUGS OR NOT DRINKING. his blood sugar was like in the 800. His car was towed and went to jail. Before knowing it was medical issues. and right away the jail transported him to the hospital.
He was there from Fri to Mon evening, before being discharged. He went tue to B n R to get his car back. I understand it's part of there business towing cars. But they wouldn't take of any $$ from his bill. Even with him being in the hospital and paperwork showing it. He payed the all of it $970 bill and got his car back.. just sad no deduction on his bill. He wasn't wanting a lot of. Just thought maybe $100 / $200 would of been nice

There prices have gone way up you can get new parts cheaper and they now charge $5 just to go in the yard. I called about an engine for a Kia and they wanted $4500. I will not shop there.

I called several times during normal business hours, and nobody answered. I guess they didn’t want my business.

Went here this morning to get a replacement window after my partner and my roommate both had their windows broken the night before. Most of the people working there were pretty rad, but this one dude working on the lot acted like a total jerk:
As my partner was trying to remove the window he incidentally bent the trim on the outside of that window (his mistake, he knows), and the gentleman doing inventory in the lot saw this and totally lost his patience on my partner. He went off on him about how many hours he spends doing inventory, about how much money "people like him" cost his workplace, and interrupting my partner each time he tried to ask what he should do differently or how he should ammend the situation. All of which just led to the worker saying "just be more gentle or pay us to do it".
When we went in it was clear he had reported the encounter, because as we went to pay his coworker at the counter asked "how many pieces did you break to get it out" and proceded to lecture my partner on lot etiquette -- and this was AFTER my partner apologized to the person at the counter for losing HIS cool and snapping at the lot worker (which he didn't even do), and for being "too rough on the trim," and he even admitted to bending it.
The real kicker? The trim wasn't even in their inventory, the lot worker never entered it into inventory, despite his saying that he did. So we couldn't even be charged for it, even though we said to the lot worker we'd pay for it if it was a big deal.
Like for real... I get that people damaging goods is frustrating, but just charge people a flat fee if you notice them incidentally damaging the cars during their part removal process if it's costing your business so much money, don't lecture and yell at them like they're your kids or your dog. Lol and don't lose your temper about parts you aren't even willing to properly inventory. Sheesh!

Called B&R To see if they would be interested in buying my car for parts. They told me yes and I drove my vehicle to their lot. Only to be turned away because, (and they didn't bother telling me this over the phone) I first had to call one of their pricers Before bringing it in. The pricers never called me back even after multiple messages. Fast forward 2 days later. Brand new tires, brand new PCV valve, brand new fuel pump, and god knows what else for parts........they offered $100 bucks............took it to a junk yard in eugene and got $550 I would have parted with my car for $150 but they said it "wasn't worth that". Oh well for them I guess.

Shout out to the woman (Lily? Leah?) who works the front desk, knowledgeable and friendly. I had some challenges with other B&R locations and she was able to make a few calls and get things sorted out. Also have had good luck with this yard having the items in inventory that they say they have. My experience with the Eugene and Corvallis locations has been poor but the Springfield yard seems to be much better.
