Seriously impressed with how nice this BW+ was! And the staff was so darn sweet! Well done, Management!

They charge extra for an early check-in, other best westerns do not. They charge regardless of your membership tier level. Other hotels don't charge for early check in.

Unacceptable Treatment
This hotel seriously needs to retrain its management. I arrived with my toddler and was told by a staff member, Aaron, that I would be next after he helped another guest then he left to the customer room on first floor to fix his remote problem. I waited patiently in the lobby.
As I sat waiting, a woman walked in, rang the bell by the check in desk, and the manager (Jordan) came out and served her right away—completely ignoring me. I told the manager I had been waiting, and all she said was, “you didn’t stand up here.” No apology. No attempt to make things right. No accountability. Just pure dismissal and disregard.
This is completely unacceptable behavior, especially from someone in a management position. She made me feel invisible and completely disrespected, even though I was clearly waiting with a small child. Luckily Aaron came back short time after than he helped me right away.
Even after Jordan finished helping that tricky guest, she didn’t take a moment to acknowledge how I was treated or my obvious disappointment. As a manager, that’s unacceptable. This manager’s behavior ruined the experience.
Oh well, I paid my booking through an app. I gave them my card for $150 deposit and at the same time they charge another fees for $328.50 without any explanation. I texted the hotel number politely about it and no response about it.

This was perfect! The room was huge and had a way to cast your phone to the TV. There is an espresso machine and many options for breakfast. There's a Tesla Supercharger just down the street.
Christina was particularly a sweetheart. She gave lots of great recommendations for places to see on Highway 1.

This is a nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The location feels safe- it is a busy interstate intersection area with many hotels and restaurants in close proximity. It is pet friendly and has a great breakfast selection, although I wish they let breakfast go later than 9a. The biggest drawback is the noise. I could hear guests talking in the lobby from inside my room at the far end of the hall. I brought an air purifier with me since I was traveling by car, and the fan noise helped to cover the hallway noise so I could sleep. The bed, sheets, and pillows are super comfy. The tub is not deep and mine didn't plug properly.

Nice place. A strange layout of a room, but clean and quiet.

DO NOT STAY HERE literally go anywhere else
My visit to Best Western Plus has left me with a severe medical emergency. Upon waking up after the night at this hotel, I discovered a spider bite on my left eye. This bite led to a severe allergic reaction, resulting in multiple visits to Urgent Care.
The lack of cleanliness at this property in my opinion led to my left eye being completely swollen shut, necessitating the purchase of multiple steroid medications, IV medications, and time off work.
Even after bringing this to their attention they do not care. Do not bring your business here.
I urge all potential guests to carefully consider the health and safety risks associated with staying at Best Western Plus North Springfield. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare, and the lack of responsiveness from the establishment raises serious concerns about their commitment to guest well-being.
I strongly advise others to think twice before choosing Best Western Plus North Springfield.

We booked this hotel, but were not told about Massive renovations in every part of the hotel including the lobby, the reception area, the front of the building, the parking lot, all wings and hallways etc. We arrived in the evening, so it was too late to do anything about it or go anywhere else. The front desk reception was hospitable and tried to put us in a room further out, yet even that room had wiring strewn about on the attached patio. The room was clean and comfortable, so I guess the stay would be ok if you only need a place to sleep and on your way out in the morning, but certainly not disclosing these issues and charging full rates is inappropriate and less than ethical.

When we booked, we were not told that the place was under renovation. We would have booked elsewhere had we known. The heat/AC did not work in our room and the night attendant didn't know how to make it work. The next day as we left, the machine came on. In our estimation it was set to come on for comfort of the cleaners, not the people paying to stay the night. Also, the night attendant told the day manager he offered us another room. I say emphatically that he did NOT offer another room. Our room was too hot; as a consequence, we did not get a good night's sleep.

We stay for one night the hotel is under remodelling, so. It to bad, we stay on the second floor, bad thing is, if you have an upstairs neighbour, you can listen all his walking.
Room, was clean and all the amenities were good, don’t expect like fancy towels.
Neighbourhood, that is the bad thing, we don’t recommend to wonder around there, you can find drug addicts wondering around too.
Breakfast, was good like fast food style from 7 am to 9 am.
Staff, check in late night staff (Aaron) super friendly and helpful.
Shower, nice, clean, not to much pressure on the sower if you are use to have like hit by the water, but was brand new so all was good, except the shower curtain, all broken.
Parking, outside but the room balcony was in good spot to check on it.
Check out process, you just drop the key on the front desk, no one to take it.
Refund process (money that pt on hold on the card) takes more than a day.
So for one sleepover was a good choice for $167 per night plus taxes, if you are a member you can get like 10% off

They're always very helpful and happy to see me when I show up.
Food & drinks: There are some good restaurants around there.
