I've always bought shoes here. Whether it's for myself or my children. A few days ago I purchased a pair of shoes for work. They were the worst shoe ever. The shoe was recommended by the manager himself. I wore the shoe for 2 days at work. I work indoors and I'm on My feet at least 8 hours a day. I could barely walk after those 2 days. My feet were killing me. So I decided to take them back I had the receipt. I went in about 7:00 pm. I spoke with a manager he said that I had worn them too many times for them to return. How could i? I asked. I have the receipt showing the amount of days and I only with it twice. This man was so rude he wouldn't even listen to me. He started yelling at me on the top of his lungs and even kick me out of the store! He said it was against store policy to return shoes that have been worn outside. So I called Eugene store. They told me to come on down and they would exchange my shoe for me. I forgot there's a store even in Eugene. There was such a better selection there. Helpful employees and the manager was amazing. They had no issue with helping me fix situation. I will never go back to Springfield Big 5 ever again. That manager was very rude and very low customer service skills.

Excellent staff and good products for good prices, for the most part. I've bought multiple pairs of shoes here and been very satisfied with them, and the one time I bought something that broke they quickly refunded me for it without issue. Good place!
