I just want to say thank you to Delores for her kindness and sensitivity. I was recently widowed and am in the process of taking my husband’s name off of things, including our bank account. Delores was so helpful and understanding. She also made the process really easy.

Chase Bank in general is not the best Bank to bank at. Community Credit Unions offer more technical details to your banking needs. This specific branch on the other hand told me just a plain “no” for my request to set an appointment to go over my account and organize transactions for tax purposes; instead of offering a solution to my unfortunate circumstance. Chase bank online systems on the customer side doesn’t offer detailed search systems in your account which makes it hard to pull up a large group of transactions for any one place, i.e Chevron transactions. So you would think well the staff at the bank have more advanced systems to where they can help you. Northwest Community Credit Union’s (NWCU) ON THE OTHER HAND offer a much better guest experience for their customers. NWCU online banking offers this advanced search engine for your transactions in your account for your online banking needs.
I asked for help and assistance, and I was told that a staff member could assist me with this a few months ago, and now they said, “No we are booked out for appointments.” & “No we cannot get anyone to sit with you and assist you with this task.” & “We don’t have enough staff.” I asked for an appointment not today but another day someone was available to figure it out with me, but no, just a bunch of excuses to not assist a banking customer. So for customers service this specific branch lacks full heartedly. No solutions just, No, I’m sorry we can’t. Well every other Bank can 👍🏼👏🏼!

I’ve come in now 3 times on various days/times to try and open a joint checking account with my husband. Each time no one has been available and only on this last time was I told I can book an appointment online. It’s pretty difficult to coordinate hours for both of us to be able to go with work so this is extra frustrating. Will likely be switching to a different bank who actually wants business.

Looks like a decent enough staff but when there’s a line they aren’t really that concerned with their level of service. Never encountered this at my more visited branch.

I went in to fill in a required document that needed to be added by the branch to my account. The teller I worked with did not submit it and my account has been shut down as a result. Deeply disappointed and angered by this totally unprofessional behavior.

I love them! I have had nothing but a great experience with them. They have so much to offer and ways to save money as well. My 6yr old son is also learning about saving with their first banking program. I thought It was a pretty awesome idea.

I had the best banking experience ever with Delores at the Gateway branch in Springfield OR.She went above and beyond, helping me out with something I couldn’t figure out at home. I walked into the branch, and she helped me sort it all out, and she was just five star the best!I am a very satisfied Chase client!

Angel, was very helpful to me for handling a very personal account transaction.I also noticed that the other staff people were very friendly in helping customers as theycame into the bank.
