I was very distracted on this day. In my own thoughts. I have never been to this store or town. But a huge shout out needs to be said to the young cashier man with tatoos who's positive vibes shined bright. I forgot my wallet and went to my car and a another person paid for my snacks by the time I returned. I saw this man in the parking lot and gave him a big hug. We do not have a lot of really greatstories out there. So walterville your people rock!

Friendly, helpful staff. The manager seemed especially welcoming, but not annoyingly so.

Dude working seemed confused about an item we asked about, and had a nasty attitude and even blocked part of the isle with a cart. There's another dollar gen closer to town like 5ish min away try that one.

This is the saddest story I have ever heard. We had known the Ashburnhams for nine seasons of the town of Naukeim with an extreme intimacy - or, rather with an acquaintanceship as loose and easy and yet as close as a good glove's with your hand. - "The Good Soldier" by Ford Maddox Ford. So begins our union with this store on the outskirts of society. A pleasant store filled with the charms 11 year olds find so present and needful. A patient, kind young man was waiting in the wings for us to make up our minds in the busy aisles of commerce. I thank you, sir, for your dutiful patience and glad hearted ways. Be seeing you again sometime soon.

The guy working the counter with a long beard in his mid 30 or so is is far from a gentleman that's for sure. I am 35 year old female and am alone, my car stars to over heat so I pulled over at dollar general. As I am sitting in parking lot letting my car cool down the front clerk comes out to smoke. I walked over asking if there was a water spigot or something I could use because my vehicle was overheating. He was not just unhelpful but completely rude when he replied no to having any water source I could use to fill up a water jug. He then threw his cigarette down and stomped inside leaving me sitting in the parking lot.

My experience at Dollar General varies. Sometimes its great & all my digital coupons work & all the prices they have posted on their products come up the same at the register. Sometimes it really sucks & my digital coupons don't work & the prices come up different at the register.
PS Heads up, the store on HWY 99 in Eugene does NOT enforce wearing masks even though it's supposed to be mandatory.

I brought my little girl here on Christmas night because she had gotten in the trash and swallowed a tampon. They were wonderful with her !
