I have been a loyal customer for thirty years, I'm so disappointed in them. We ordered over $7,000 in living room furniture and trusted our salesman which was a big mistake. He knew we had a stereo receiver and we talked with him about the remote working through the cabinet. Well the receiver doesn't fit, not even close. Instead of good customer service "they are doing us a favor will take it back for 20% restocking fee". Are you kidding me that's how you treat loyal customers, well they lost this one. If you have any problems don't expect help just a charge. Just can't tell you how nice it is to have a TV cabinet and none of the tv components fit inside.Measure ,check your facts.

After many purchases in the past from Michael's my husband and I purchased two leather recliners from them. Our experiences had always been good and in fact we have pieces of their furniture still in our home. The chairs arrived with one being damaged and so we refused the delivery of that chair. No problem as Michael's quickly had another chair delivered---but it was not the same color. Even the delivery people noticed the difference immediately. Michael's solution was for us to just keep it and deal with it or they would repair the damaged chair (the damage was right in the front of the chair where it would always be noticed). We were not in favor of those solutions and Michael's just ghosted us! After 2 weeks of trying to get a resolution we only were made whole by filing a claim with our credit card company. Michael's has lost a long time customer and they don't care---so buyer be ware.

Super disappointed! I bought this chair to rock my new born to sleep. Comfy chair spent good money with the warranty so if it's broken I can get it repaired.( which the rocker base metal bar snapped) It's been 5 months since the claim has started. I've emailed the warranty place that jacobs michael furniture sells and they will not respond. So I called the store I bought the chair from and they got ahold of the warranty place and called me back and said the part has been ordered a month ago but could take another 3 months to get to me? 8 months seems out of line to repair a simple part. When I contacted Jacob Michael I was told they could repair it for me with out warranty just cancel my claim with warranty and bring them the chair plus 85 dollars to look at it and pay for parts and they would be happy to fix it. As a veteran I take great pride for great service. I'm sure it will be fixed but it could have been handled much better....all I want is a chair to rock my kid to sleep and by the time it gets fixed he will be off to college ? ? thanks jacobs michael furniture

From start to finish the experience at M Jacobs on Gateway Loop road in Springfield OR was 5 star!Last week we drove 30 minutes to look for a new recliner, as we live in a rural community.We started at M Jacobs on Gateway Loop and boy are we glad we did! We were met by a lovely salesman named Ry who was courteous, helpful, and not pushy.He assisted us in finding the chair that fit our needs, and price. We left the store to see what other furniture stores had to offer and ended up coming back. The price, warranty, delivery fee at all 3 other stores didn't even come close to M Jacobs for similar chairs.The deliver was going to take 2 weeks but the day after our purchase I was contacted by their delivery contractor who said she could organize a delivery for the following day. When the deliver guys got there, they were very careful and got the chair set up where we wanted. There was a bit of a hiccup in the mechanics of the chair. They left it and said they would bring a new one after contacting the supplier. As it turned out the chair was fine, there was a piece between the chair and frame that caused the issue. I called Ry and explained the chair was all good and thanked him for his help! All up, M Jacobs and Ry gave a super easy experience ... THANK YOU,KIM & ELDON

Recently purchased a leather recliner, overall it was a great experience. No pressure from the salesman and plenty selection. I worked with Ri, he was very personable and a kind person. It was enjoyable to work with him.

It was time for a new dining room table. We discussed exactly what we wanted. We walked in, told the salesman exactly what we wanted and he took us to it. It was exactly what we wanted. It was onsale too. It will be delivered next week.

We have bought multiple couches from them. Our most recent purchase was a full sectional with a recliner. Well on the second month of owning it electric switches where breaking and the entire metal mechanism in the recliner has been broke. They sent out the warranty crew and they finally got the switch fixed in one over a month later. In the process scratched the heck out of our solid wood floor. We asked Shawn, the store manager, if since we have had so much problems from the beginning with getting the recliner fixed if we could return the recliner and just get another section for the couch. I guess it got passed to the general manager Dan that said said NO since it has been so long since the purchase that they can't do that now. Well if you can't seam to get a product you sell and warranty fixed in over 9 months and while fixing another part on the couch and damage the floors. I would think this could be a nice exception to that, but I guess not. I will have to find another store to buy furniture at, and will not recommend this store in the future.

I ordered a sofa from this company. Everything seemed fine at first. I was told that multiple units were already on the way. When I checked back in my salesperson assured me everything was good, that he would personally set up my delivery date, as it was for a business. I never heard back from the salesperson. Calling back three business days later I was informed by the salesperson that the sofa was backordered. I am 4 business days away from opening a new office and was depending upon the sofa being there. I was wrong to depend upon this company and I advise you against doing business with them.

After searching online and going to every furniture store in the Eugene Springfield area I ended up at the M. Jacobs / Michael's leather and oak block in Springfield. EIi welcomed us into the store answered all my questions gave me space when I wanted to browse and was incredibly knowledgeable. He was seriously the greatest salesman I have spoken with in a long time. Polite, not pushy, knowledgeable and respectful. If you go here ASK FOR ELI! As for quality we ended up with the Whittier products which is a local Eugene company and we are very satisfied with. Great price point for quality products. Very happy with our entire experience from start to finish with this business. Thanks again Eli you were amazing. The owner made an appearance was also incredibly pleasant to speak with and kind.

After checking every furniture store in town, finally found what I was looking for in a sofa, and for much less than I had planned on spending.
