Most of their staff are friendly, but one of them was so rude! I'm not sure if she was having a bad day, but the way she approached us was completely unprofessional. I won't be posting her name, nor have I mentioned her to any of the other staff. Companies and businesses are a representation as a whole. A single sour egg can ruin the reputation of a good business, and people may get treated as such.
I also wish they would pay closer attention to their live plants and animals. As other reviewers have mentioned the disarray of conditions. Sadly, we will not be revisiting this location :(

Dirty, every fish I've ever bought there has died within 3 days. Was told by an employee that they don't even buy their fish there. Terrible customer service. 4 employees standing around talking while customers needed assistance.
Valley River location is great, but Springfield location is another story.

Will never shop petco again. 3 times website said they had item. Tried calling no answer. Went to Springfield store and DIDN'T HAVE ITEMS ADVERTISED!!!

Please update your hours! Came by Wednesday afternoon at 6:15 and an employee said the store was already closed. The hours state that the store is open until 9 pm

Apparently close at 6 now.
Google shows petco updated their hours a week ago showing a closing of 9.
This look to have been mentioned by other reviewers over 2 weeks ago.
