“This school has been a blessing for our family. My daughter absolutely LOVES this school. I know the owner personally and she is a wonderful light shining for our children. She not only has help my daughter grow but also has taught her many valuable lessons.. like cleaning up after herself! Before Growing Place she refused to help and now she cleans up without being asked! She learned how to be a good friend and how to control her emotions! That’s saying a lot for a 4 year old! They hold kids accountable for their actions as they should. We need our children to know that actions have consequences. They use reward systems to promote positive behavior again teaching that accountability is so important. I feel very confident that when my daughter moves into Kindergarten she will be ready to succeed. I highly highly recommend Growing Place Preschool!!! “This is my child's first year at Waldorf after some time in public school and I am so happy. The classroom is beautiful and calming. The teacher stands in front of the classroom instead of sitting at a computer. There is no constant station switching and chaos. There are not hundreds of brain numbing worksheets. It feels like a very nurturing and safe environment. There are many community events and ways to be involved and get to know the community. Everyone has been very welcoming and accepting (I was a little worried about not being "Waldorf enough" but that hasn't been the vibe at all. The education feels very well rounded and geared toward appropriate child development. I feel happy dropping my child off in the morning knowing she will be cared for and immersed in a colorful learning experience. My daughter used to not answer any questions about what went on at school but now has a lot to share about what she learned and the adventures she had on the play ground.”

“Busy Bees has offered a fantastic experience for our child. We wish we had known about it the previous year. They do a number of activities throughout the year and involve the parents is various things. My child has learned some basic science and geography in preschool! And the price is very reasonable unlike some obscenely priced private preschools. Our second child will likely attend in the coming years.”
