SELCO Community Credit Union provides a mostly good experience for members who have banked with them for quite some time, with many reporting terrific service. Staff is consistently described as friendly, helpful, and understanding, often taking extra time to discuss accounts and point out ways to make more interest. The online and mobile app experience is praised as amazing, with members noting the credit union has improved over the years without the tech and security problems found elsewhere. A convenient feature is the ability to make deposits and withdrawals at other credit union ATMs without fees. However, a significant criticism involves the lending process. The used car loan process is specifically cited as garbage, with lending practices that are based strictly on algorithms or a preset credit rating, leaving no room for a human being to make a decision. This has led members to secure vehicle loans and better home loan rates at other local credit unions, which is disappointing for those who would prefer to have all their banking under one umbrella for ease of payment.
I have been banking with Selco since I was 7 years old, they have always been helpful and kind to me! Because of there generosity my family and I get to have a wonderful Christmas this year!

Employee was able to help me fix an issue with my card quickly and get a replacement same day within 20 minutes. They were very pleasant to talk to and I felt respected. I've been banking here for almost 15 years and have never had a problem with this bank.
