Sun Automotive provided a wonderful experience to get work done on my car. They were friendly efficient and went above and beyond fixing things I didn’t ask for but were needed.

Took my car in to get steering fixed. Nobody had parts but Sun managed to track the part down. I always feel good when I deal with this company. I'm always happy with customer service and the repairs and the price. It always feels fair.

All the staff treated me like family. My daughters both left left California to To live in the beautiful Oregon. I’ve always worked on their cars and my own so finding a trustworthy mechanic and shop owner was not going to be easy. I self restored cars, and I knew that the industry is full of people that will take advantage of you At every opportunity. My daughter has a 1989 Jeep XJ and yes it’s been a puzzle but they’ve managed to take care of it with ease. They’ve Always been accommodating with pricing and making sure that my daughter had a ride to and from the shop and communicated well with us. I would definitely trust them. They did a full brake system rebuild. And replaced all major sensors prior to that.

I was recently in a head on collision where a car came into my lane and hit me. Since it was their fault, the other parties insurance was supposed to pay to fix my broken car. They did my bodywork only, but when I got the car back, I realized it was running poorly, and when I took my car in for my maintenance check, Les Schwab told me that it had suspension issues.
I spoke with the offending parties insurance company, and they told me that if I took it to a mechanic and they found out that things were wrong with my car because of the accident they would pay for it. However, when I entered this facility after I made my appointment, it became very obvious that they were working only on the side of the insurance company. However, they were happy to take my money.
Mechanics were very cold and rude to me. Especially Evan.
I ended up spending $200 just so that they could tell me there were several things wrong with my car but it was NOT because of the accident. This is completely untrue since I had routine maintenance done on my car showing there was absolutely wrong with it directly before the accident! It
They also wouldn’t send The diagnostic reports to me or even show them to me. I had to ask the insurance company for it through email! when I picked up my car and asked why they didn’t send me or even show me the diagnostic reports to me they told me coldly that that’s how they work with insurance. I don’t think they realized that I made this appointment myself with my car that I paid for with my hard earned money!
Never trust these guys. They are icky and not looking out for the average person, a single mom like me!
Currently in the process of reporting to the Better Business Bureau and BOLI for misrepresentation and oppressive/unconscionable acts and business practices.

I was in town for a week but needed my brakes on my 2012 Subaru Outback checked for a vibration I was experiencing. They gave me a detailed safety report with pictures, clearly explained everything they found and fixed my rear brakes for a very reasonable price. They even vacuumed my car and gave me a coupon for a car wash! I highly recommend Sun Auto! I wish I had one in my town! Honestly the best repair facility I’ve ever been to!

Sun Automotive, Is absolutely wonderful and I strongly recommend them to everyone. They are so fast and thorough and trustworthy. As a woman that knows absolutely nothing about cars I have the upmost confidence and and faith in their integrity and the quality of the work that they give and I would recommend them every time. They are absolutely amazing

My car unexpectedly stopped starting. Evan and the folks here were friendly and efficient. They got me in and were able to diagnose my problem quickly. Every step of the way I knew I was in good hands, and will be back for any issues in the future.

Went to Sun Automotive with an immediate problem with out of control windshield wipers. Needed my car for a doctor visit in Portland the next day. This was my first visit to Sun having heard they had a great reputation in the area. They made time in their day to diagnose, retrieve parts to replace leaking battery and burned sensors and replace. They did this all in one day without an appointment or previous service history. They have my sincere thanks and recommendation.

Great service and customer service from Evan, Josh and Alaina. I was able to make a quick appt. They performed a thorough vehicle inspection and fully explained issues and costs of repairing our old Toyota. Will definitely use them for future work.
