I work a few doors down at Cricket. I went in to get a haircut on my lunch break. The older lady I believe she is the owner, spoke with me eariler about coming by. Anyways i went in. I'm male and my haircut isn't very difficult. I asked to start with a 2 on the sides, finger length with sheers on top. Then blend it to even the edges. She went for my side burns first cut it extremely high and very crooked. Then when I told her it was too high she acted clueless. She didn't lube her clippers and pulled my hair, then when she got to the finger length she wasn't cutting it short enough. When I told her that she grabbed the clippers and went to the top of my head with them. Now that i checked it its uneven by half an inch or more in multiple areas. The right side is tighter than the left. On top of everything she nicked my skin tag and made me bleed. This haircut cost me 30 (27 plus 3 tip) I'm way to nice, but I basically paid for a buzz cut that I could of done at home. CANNOT CUT MENS HAIR!!!!! Stay away!
Update: spoke with the owner and explained the situation she offered to fix it but considering the experience i requested a refund. The owner is refusing to give me a refund so I'm disputing it with my bank. NEVER GO HERE!

I paid 45.00 for the worst haircut I have ever recieved. My fault, the lady that owns this place is really nice but has no business cutting hair anymore. She was shaking so bad I should have stopped her. There is nothing right about my cut. My daughter thought I was nuts until she really looked at it. Tried to fix it so I could at least go in public. Still need it professionally fixed. The other people that work there are probably very good. But the owner needs to retire.

I got the worst hair cut yesterday and I can’t stop crying. I asked for a long bob with texture (even showed her a picture and she cut my sides up to my chin with lots of layers. I have fine hair and it takes forever to grow, so I am stuck with this choppy uneven hair cut for months until it grows enough to have someone fix it. Her concentration was elsewhere, on her bank issues and the other clients up coming trip. She was nice enough not to change me.

I really wanted a quick haircut because I was growing out my hair to its natural silver gray and so many salons had an hour and a half wait. By chance we drove by this salon and LaDonna was happy to take me right in for an awesome haircut, probably the best I have ever had. The shop has a nice feel to it with a friendly little mascot dog named Murphy. I will be back!!

Horrible experience with the Owner LaDonna. Made an appointment for a color weave. Showed up for my appointment:The cleaning lady was doing a deep clean of the salon. The place was completely in disarray. A water vendor was there fixing the water system. LaDonna was completely distracted!She couldn’t finish my color between answering the phone, dealing with the vendor and the shop in disarray! I was there 3 Hours!The cleaning lady actually put the last 2 foils in my hair!Needless to say it was a botched job!!! Over processed on one side and missing color on the other.DONT GO TO THIS SALON!!!I actually went back to show LaDonna her unprofessional work. ( I wanted my money back because I would have to have it professionally corrected. She wouldn’t even admit that my hair looked uneven. She actually said it looked good. Even though sections were ORANGE and over processed almost white in areas..This person should NOT being do hair anymore!!!!Service: Hair coloring

Made an appointment and was seen within a day (very pleased with that). My stylist was a super cool woman named Heather. VERY knowledgeable to all the new styles so I quickly felt comfortable asking for an undercut and shave side with hard line. She prepped my hair ever so delicately and during the whole process, asked me precisely what I wanted (which was a HUGE plus with me). Within a few moments, she whipped my frizzy hair that looked flat and plain into an edgy super fun cut! I am SO happy with my stylist that I just had to share my experience with everyone here in the googles.if you want a super knowledgeable stylist who discusses your cut with you before, during and after with you, Heather is your girl and Sunflower Salon is your hideaway.

Went in with a last minute appointment, hoped they could help me. I hadn't had a professional cut in over 3 years. Heather gave me a fantastic smile, she was super kind, and had me smiling and laughing the whole time. I highly recommend this salon and Heather and as far as I could tell, the other beauticians. I feel like a new person. Thank you.

Was pressed for time Friday afternoon and came across this place as it was near a job I was working at. Although busy, the staff welcomed me in with a smile and offered me a drink as well. The atmosphere was calm and the air was nice and cool. I didn’t even wait but a mere few moments before one of the stylists, Heather, called for me. Before even touching her shears, she asked me what I wanted to achieve and what we could achieve (the stuff you WANT your hairstylist to ask) with the current length. Again, keep in mind, this was done BEFORE beginning the cut. Prior to going here, I went to one of the more edgier/hard to get into places and had my hair cut before I could even sit (and this was after making an appointment two weeks in advance). I came away from that experience with an average (and that’s being very fair in my book) haircut for a very high price done by someone who didn’t even care to ask me a question about how I wanted my hair done. So, with that said (and also with reading the prior reviews of this place), I feel confident giving it a 5 star review.Service: Haircut

Called to make an appt. The woman who answered seemed rushed. I confirmed the date and time twice because of this. I had to make the appt. 4 weeks out due to my work schedule. When I showed up for the appt. She had no record of it saying it "didn't get written down in the books." Should have known by the way she was rushing me when I called to make the appt. Will NOT be back..

The owner of the shop over processed my hair. When I got home my hair was gummy and falling out. Still having breakage today. I tried to discretely call the owner of the shop to ask for a refund. She told me no and that I just needed to put a conditioning treatment on my hair. She tried to tell me that my hair breaking off was normal. I have long hair so this is going to take a long time to grow out.I won't be going back.Service: Hair coloring

I spent $120.00 to get partial weave and left without any noticable difference in my hair. The colorist was loud and overbearing. I had to listen to vaccine conspiracy theories and several personal stories about how smart and amazing she is. It was bizarre. She even insulted my hair color choices as I was ready to leave. Since everyone there was privy to her poor coloring skills and inappropriate choice of conversation topics, I can only assume the bar isn't set very high for this salon.Service: Hair coloring
