Super 8 by Wyndham Springfield/Eugene is noted for its great and helpful staff who are considerate and accommodating. The hotel is consistently described as clean, with clean rooms and nice beds. It is in a good and convenient location right off the Gateway, next to several restaurants, gas, grocery, and mini stores, and is in a safe area. Many guests find it one of the best places for the dollar. The building is older and rooms are seen as vintage, reminding some of the 70s, with items like the air conditioner and shower head noted. There is no elevator. The continental breakfast has limited choices, described as kinda bla, with items like cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, pancakes, and fruit. The hotel is generally quiet with quality sound proofing, especially with windows shut, though some daytime noise from traffic is possible. It is a pretty quiet place. While under construction, this did not cause disruption. Some note that football weekend prices are outrageous, but the hotel remains clean and convenient for game day.
