I liked the bow rack and the fact that I can go and purchase a kit so that I can put a rod or a real on the end of my bow and go bowfishing is even cooler and looks even funner. Then actually going regular fishing.

My husband got amazing help from Gavin. The whole staff was very friendly!
The store felt welcoming and smelt great (so did the candles and soaps for sale as well!)

This family owned shop has always been friendly. They are very knowledgeable and one of the only shops that will spend the time to tune a bow to you.

Gavin was the greatest! Knowledgeable, approachable, and professional. Helped me set up my new Matthew's lift 33 inch with great insight. Give him a raise.

Top notch service! Even with a store full of waiting customers, the staff took the time to field our questions, even allowed my daughter an opportunity to shoot a bow, and set up the bow she purchased. She was super happy! Thanks Wayne, Lisa, and the team! Well worth the 2.5 hour drive. We will back again!

The best archery shop I’ve been to. Been hunting archery for a bit over a decade and had work done in AK, WA, and all over Oregon, and this shop stands out as exceptional. The staff at the Bow Rack are well-versed in their art — providing an attention to detail that clearly illustrates their love for the sport. When you invest as much as we do into our hunts (time, money, practice, etc) it’s the small things that matter.

I wanted to love it, I really did. I have unfortunately had very poor service each time I’ve been in here. My first time visiting back in 2021 I brought in my older Hoyt and wanted to get it tuned. I immediately felt like I was being judged by the younger guy assisting me, he went as far as to call my bow “garbage”… I get it, it wasn’t a new flagship bow but I still killed an elk with it that season and I didn’t have bunch of cash to spend on a new one at the time. So that bow meant a lot to me and I was happy with it. I left that day feeling upset and thought maybe I just caught someone on an off day, it happens.
I then returned the next year in 2022 with a different bow, I was able to afford a small upgrade and had a Blackout NV-32 that I found on a deal. Again wanted to tune it and get it ready for season. I was met with weird comments about my bow and an employee who wasn’t even helping me at the time goes “what is that” as if he was disgusted. I was pretty much done coming back here after this as I had gathered that if you don’t shoot a new Hoyt or Matthews it’s like you’re a second class citizen to these guys. I was super disappointed.
I never wrote a review until now because I don’t like being negative and reviews aren’t something I do too often unless I think it’s warranted. I just figured I wouldn’t come back and I’ll just let it be.
Well here we are in 2024 and about three weeks ago I was ready to make a big purchase and get myself a premium flagship bow. My buddy convinced me to do my due diligence and at-least go shoot some of Bow Racks bows as there isn’t another place nearby with Matthews or Hoyt. So I went into this last visit with an open mind and the mindset of “maybe if they know I’m willing to spend thousands of dollars on a setup, I’ll get some good service.”
I went in on a Thursday afternoon when it wasn’t too busy, let the guy know my intentions and he was very short with me and wasn’t very eager about selling me a bow. It felt like I was bothering him. He didn’t have any level of excitement or enthusiasm about the ordeal. Either way, I ended up shooting the Hoyt RX8, Alpha X and Matthews Lift. The whole time I had to pry information out of him about the product specs and recommendations. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the Lift 33, I couldn’t buy it knowing I would have to come back to this store to have work done on it and didn’t trust him to set it up properly.
Therefore I took my business to another local archery shop whose staff was knowledgeable, personable and respectful. My new setup has been great.
Just my experience, I really hope others have a different one. It makes me sad having to leave a negative review on a local small business that seemingly the vast majority of people enjoy. I just felt that I had to express my experiences in hopes that some attitudes may change in there because us hunters at the end of the day need to stick together to protect the precious resources that provide for our families.

The reputation precedes itself here. The guys went above and beyond with me and my bow. Trent went through it extensively and spending the time to help me with my form and helpful tips. It was worth the 4 hour drive. Definitely will be back for future bow work.

Amazing bow shop. Honestly some of the best people you’ll ever meet. Incredibly helpful. Gavin and Wayne spent over an hour helping me determine which was the best fit for me. I’ll be back to buy my new bow in June!

My first experience with The Bow Rack was great. I called a few times before my planned trip down from Salem and made sure what I needed was in stock as well as if appointments were needed (they are not). I had been saving for a new 33" Green Ambush Mathews Lift. I drove down and arrived early because I know they can get a little busy, especially on a Saturday. I was first in line and immediately greeted by a very courteous staff. We picked out the bow and began selecting accessories. Every question I asked was answered with educated responses. I was offered a variety of options, not just the most expensive. They spent the time to adjust and tune every aspect of my bow as well as my form. I have seen a handful of YouTube videos from various archery YouTubers regarding the shop as well as videos from Endicott Films. It was really cool to turn around and see Wayne and get the time to talk with him. Such a great down to earth individual. The shop was really cool to be in and I can't wait to see the new range when it is finished. I will be a customer for life and can't wait to return.
