Pickup time for packages says 6pm. They must collect em earlier than that because I dropped off 10 min before 6 and there wasn't a scan that evening. Not sure why there are such delays with repairing the smashed out windows, causing everyone to enter through the side. My local postman likes to ignore the numbers on my door and name on the mail and puts my mail through the slot on the office door next to me. They close early on Fridays, causing me to wait until Monday to get anything delivered Friday. Other than those things and the occasional lost package, they've been great, especially for my selling on eBay. Definitely get yourself a label printer and skip the lines.

Again, 3 days to get from Springfield OR. post office to Portland OR post office. There is seriously something wrong with these kids they're hiring these days , weak, slow and pathetic, oh, and lazy and careless. All I can picture is tossing a package to one pile and it bouncing to a different pile, and forgotten..

Wow. The slowest, worst customer service ever. One person at the counter while 2 or 3 other workers chit chat for a while before all leaving for lunch...all while a line is forming out the door.

Started using this USPS a few months ago, I started selling products on ebay and was consistently going in once or twice a week. It started out with good experiences from the counter: two to three people accepting packages, accurate shipment. The bare minimum. After 2-3 weeks the wait times started getting longer and longer to the point now where there is a line almost out the door every morning afternoon and evening with 1 MAYBE 2 people at the counter. Went from a max 5-7 min wait time to 20-30 minute wait. Not only that, I've had 8 customers out of my last 50 orders request refunds due to missing orders. I haven't had any issues with attitude from the workers there but I can definitely say that the speed and accuracy of this location has gone DOWN quite a bit over the last few months.

The carriers servicing this location's area are unconcerned with delivery accuracy or appropriate package handling. The only staff at this location who are carrying their weight around there seem to be the regular full-timers at the service desk and the gruff-ish gentleman doing passports (and after listening to how some folks talk to him on both sides of his counter, I get why he's gruff-ish and commend him for not... well... going postal).

Had a passport appointment and John was awesome. You need an appointment for passport services which is clearly stated on the website.

Faculty was good. Service once they processed it was not. Paid a lot for next day Air. They promised a 6 pm delivery. It didn’t happen. Nearly 10 pm now. Not delivered. Will be going in for a refund. $30+ is very expensive for a pkg not to arrive and with no explanation.

This post office treated my daughter and I terribly as walk ins for passports even though we were there during approved times listed on the website. The guy (J) was clearly pissed we didn’t have an appointment. He went to the back and we waited 15 minutes for him to come back. He would only process one even though we were the only ones there. It took him about 10 minutes to process one. At the downtown Eugene post office, wait time and processing took no more than 5 minutes. No line at either place but speediness and customer service were lightyears apart by location. We were charged a lobby service fee at the Gateway location on our passport receipt. The downtown location didn’t charge for that. The clerk at Gateway was just downright rude. He wasn’t knowledgeable about payment methods either. He only offered check or money order as payment options. He didn’t know if Apple Pay would work. He proceeded to help a male walk in as we were leaving after refusing to process my application. I’m curious to know how many other passport customers were charged the “Lobby Fee”.

John who does the passport processing should not work customer service. Refused to take walk ins when the usps website clearly states they take walk ins from 12:30PM-2PM. Mr John states they "don't take walk ins" he then tells my mother and I that he can only help one of us. He then processes my passport. Adds .50 cent bogus charge onto my total. He then asks a man behind us if he had an appointment the man stated no and that he was there for a walk in. John then offers to help the walk in who came in after us. Refusing to help my mother who came in before the other walk in. Sad human being who should not work customer service and I hope that he gets the help and treatment he needs amen!

They are very rude, and they don't know what's on their website for passport appointments. I am very disappointed in this location!
