I will never, ever in my life shop at this dumpster fire of a store again. My family will never shop at this business as a whole ever again. The prison style food they sell shouldn't even be a thing. On top of all that they let meth heads walk around the store mask-less. No sanitized carts and the employees look dead from hating the place they work at.

Discriminates against disabled people. Will never go here again. I don't need medical advice from the grocery store thanks. Stop practicing medicine without a license. Just sell grocery's.

I went grocery shopping and when I checked out I put a bag of fire place pellets on the belt and my wife tells him we have another bag. He tells us he's not ringing up our groceries until we go I've him a greeting, I told him I want my groceries rang up and I am not here yep find friends, I told him I have been to over twenty stores that day and this is the first that requires a greeting before he takes my money. Then he goes I'm not ringing up your groceries and another guy takes over. Then he looks at me and says don't use the n word, my wife's family is part black I would never do this and then he tells me I hope you get the virus and die. Wtf, if you go to wincO in Springfield make sure you watch out for a guy named either William b or lim he had several names on his badge so who knows but he is the only black person there.

The Winco in Springfield is smaller than the one in Eugene, but the produce, meat and dairy products are just as good. I do not like their bakery. They tend to over-bake the bread. Still, the price at this location is less expensive and the people are very friendly.

As my college student friend found out the hard way, they only take cash, checks, and debit cards. They have low prices because you bag your own groceries, they dont have foo foo lighting or fancy product displays and last but not least, you CANNOT use credit cards on your purchases.

This is a destination every time I return home because there are so many great products for so cheap! We like to load up on bulk foods such as quinoa which is roughly 1/3 the price we usually pay! It's also a great place to refill herbs and spices, we especially like the Chinese 5 spice and chipotle mixes. The produce prices are great and there is a huge selection of dairy products. The only downside is no credit cards, but with prices this low we'll gladly use our debit card.

Winco is my all around grocery store for savings and it's near my home. However, they don't carry everything, like Good Seasons Zesty Italian, for example. All in all, a solid store for low prices. I have requested the Good Seasons Zesty Italian, but so far, I haven't seen it on the shelf yet. I have always had good customer service when it comes to Winco. Just be aware that at busy time, it will get crowded and loud, so be aware and be courteous. And to those that ask about not accepting credit cards---its to keep prices low.

Come into the 1980s and accept credit cards! I feel awful...first visit, full cart and unable to check out! I was told you only accept debit cards. Left it all there... Why wasn't I informed I could write a check?! I had a check book in my car ... Not a good visit and doubt I'll be back... unless you accept credit cards.

Everything you could want. Store layout is fairly easy to navigate. Ethnic isles, deli counter with hot and cold, sushi selection, large produce, meat variety, Dairy out the wazoo, a expansive candy/chip/treat isle. They have a bottle return as well as pizzeria and customer service. They do money services as well. Staff is friendly, lines can be long. Self checkout is an option and only service animals allowed in the building. Sales of wine, cider and beer but no liquor per Oregon law. Office supplies, holiday decor, and seasonal items also available tucked away near produce. They do a good thanksgiving turkey day each year as well as year around great pricing on most items. Shopping carts, baskets and electric carts all available.

I should note that this is the only Winco I have been to - so I can't make comparisons. However, this is probably where you will find the most affordable version of anything. If there are certain items here that you do not think are the best price here, I would like to know (not being sassy - I just haven't seen anything that has a lower price elsewhere!) Their bulk section is pretty amazing, I have gotten spices from here to avoid buying expensive whole jars of specialty spices. They also have baking mixes, falafel mixes, soup powders, a lot of gluten free flours. Pros: -amazing deals, cheapest place I know -bulk section -employees are nice (at least the ones I have encountered - albeit they are stocking it seems every time I go & they take up lots of space doing so) -they actually carry many gluten free/vegan/health food brands & items Cons: -produce is questionable at times, esp. organic (usually soft or molding :-( ) -although its a huge store, it gets REALLY packed sometimes & everyone usually has a large family with them (however, I must remind myself that this is what nearly every store in Southern California was like on pretty much any given day)

Update: Terrible today! I was shopping at 10:30 to 11:00am today for a super bowl party. Store was fairly busy. No problem really with other shoppers. The store was jam packed with big pallets wrapped in plastic. They were blocking all the aisles in the meat department. These were not displays, it was like extra storage that was in the way of the items that were for sale. Crazy!!! There were extra crackers, tortillas, soda and etc. There were employees hauling some of these pallets into the closed doors in the back of the store and other employees taking the pallets into aisles blocking customers. One particularly offensive employee in grey and white striped polo with no name tag driving a big pallet wildly and out of control. Shame on him and his rude behaviour. After he nearly ran me over he glared and snarled rather than appologized. Disgusting!

After going to the one on Barger and then going to this location is light and day. First the parking lot is quite small for a busy place like this and the area is very sketchy with the clientele that go here. On the inside this place is just dark and gloomy, and as if Winco just gave up on this one and said well at least we have another store that is good. We will just keep this one the way it is. The whole vibe when shopping here is just gloom and how I would feel if I was severely depressed. They need to seriously lighten it up in there and just get it cleaner. I will stick to the one on Barger.
