It cost me 450$ to have my taxes done i only have 2 w2s and 2 dependents it was a simple return. The federal came back fine. A week later my state refund got flagged by the state and I had to send all kinds of documentation to the state and then I find out that the tax preparer got my routing and account numbers wrong for my direct deposit which is finally scheduled to be sent to me in 2 days. When I went in and politely asked for help fixing it my (the only) tax person there is booked out for the week and can't spare 10 minutes to talk to me. When I voiced my frustration at being charged so much for it to end up getting sent to the wrong account and no one can help me the receptionist snapped at me and basically told me I'm SOL. After calling the corporate number I got someone to set me up with a phone appointment for this evening to fix it. Do not go to the St. Helens h&r block, way way overpriced and horrible customer service.

Absolute incompetence at this location . Highly recommend avoiding them at all costs . They messed up my tax return last year and the IRS says they never got it . Then I had to go to them this year because they had the info from last year and they messed up again but told me 4 days before I needed a social security protection number . Basically telling me I have to pay them 220$ upfront to get the info I already had and do my taxes and send them in myself . Absolute scam bunch of old bitter country fried Karen’s working there . Do yourself the favor avoid a headache and go to a professional or anywhere else
