The worst experience here. My girlfriend just got a truck that was left to her by her dad. Very nice truck that he had special ordered and delivered. He was the only owner and took good care of it. Upon taking ownership I wanted to make sure all was good. The brakes felt weak and we could hear a squealing coming from the brakes, so we took it to St.Helens Les Schwab and I told them I wanted new brakes put on the back of the truck. They called me half hour later and told me that my brakes were great and actually looked almost new and everything was all good in the system. Upon leaving the lot I could still hear a definite brake squeezing and they didn't feel right. I went right back and told the tech that I didn't agree that everything was good because when driving you could hear a noise sometimes with and without the pedal being pushed. Also told him that it seemed like it was taking fluid too often. He test drove it. Agreed to hearing a noise once in motion. He put it on the lift again and let the tires turn while lifted to see if he could hear the noise and also re-inspected the breaks for leaks or damages and returned to tell me all was good again, no service needed and that the noise actually was coming from under the hood and was a vacuum leak or something. It's now been a little while since being told all was good and being double checked and the sound has only gotten worse and worse. The braking itself has gotten worse and worse until the point of regular braking fails and there was no brakes for a second and the fluid consumption became horrible to where my girlfriend was going through an entire bottle of fluid every 2 to 3 days and losing brakes when it got low. So I returned to Schwabs once again and was like look, I. Need breaks something is not ok regardless of your inspection, I want new brakes. The get it in and come back telling me how both back brakes are shot and my wheel cylinders are blown and telling me I should have got brakes inspected/replaced sooner. REALLY? I TRIED TOO! Now all this extra needs replaced and was damaged due to waiting? I feel like they should be held accountable for the damages being it was their inspection and failure to service when asked that made it worse. $594.00 they charged me for back brakes only. Now I have brakes BUT steering now pulls to the right while driving, new brakes are still squeeking, and it just feels like a crap job ESPECIALLY FOR 600 bucks that I couldn't afford at the moment and to top it off... my girlfriend is still mad because the brakes are worse then when it went in, STILL! ***AVOID ***LES SCHWAB***

These guys are outstanding. Imagine if you will... A tire store that is willing to help you out on short notice. They still exist at Les Schwab's.

The absolute worst service I have ever encountered. My wife takes her van in and asks for the front brakes to be done. She informs them it is shaking going down the hill when she hits the brakes. They told her that the front brakes look brand new so they replaced the back brakes and rotors. Proceeded to charge my account $700. This did not fix the problem. So she took the van back in. This time they told her that her front brakes looked terrible and she needed to replace the front now as well. Another $700. I will be getting this done by another shop paying off my account and never doing business here again. Incompetent employees taking advantage of a woman who knows nothing. Disgusting behavior.

I've been going to Les Schwab for over 40 years in prior to that my daddy always went there and told me they were always service oriented and did things right. They have always performed to their high standards and honored their warranties

I don’t live in Saint Helens but I was driving through town and hit a curb by accident. Absolutely destroyed my tire, almost an hour after Les Schwab closed. But when I pulled in the parking lot, the two workers who were about to leave for the night immediately started to help me. When it became clear that my little jack and donut weren’t going to get me going again, they opened the bay door and brought out the heavy floor jack, took off my bad tire, found me an appropriate replacement and got me back on the road to Portland. I cannot thank these two guys enough and I’ll be driving out of my way to support this store in the future. Thank you so much!

Had a flat tire, they cha get it quick, efficency is outstanding an definitely will be returning in the future scappoose les shwab is always amazing thank you guys

Beware and stay clear of Les Schwab. I came in to get the brakes replaced for my car and was in for a rude awakening with an outrageous quote of $2,490.45. I shared this with several friends and a car mechanic, and received an additional quote from a different auto shop. All agreed this quote was over the top for a 2017 vehicle that was in good shape and drove well, and all this work was not needed on my car. I ended up spending $795 for new brakes at a different auto shop. I will not recommend this shop to others and will stay clear from this place. It’s a shame you want to take advantage of others and rob others blind. I hope you do better.

I've been a fan of Les Schwab since I started driving 30 years ago, but the St Helens Les Schwab always goes above and beyond with customer service. When I have a problem with my car they are always happy to do a safety check, and are very nice and professional. They never talk down to me, and don't fix things my car doesn't need. If they can't find a solution for my complaint, they are honest about it. I am so pleased. Thank you Les Schwab for making this long time customer happy for 30 years. God bless you all and your families!

I've been here a few times. There fast and efficient! I worked with Chris today he was very friendly and informative, even brought me out to the shop to see how bad my brake pads were! I appreciate the honesty and integrity of this location!
