“Columbia Humane Society was such an educational stop for us. From the moment we arrived, their staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, but what really stood out was how willing they were to share their knowledge and help us better understand the work happening behind the scenes. We came away from our visit having genuinely learned a lot, and we’re incredibly grateful for that. Every shelter teaches us something different, and the Columbia Humane Society team took the time to explain not just what they do, but the realities and challenges behind animal welfare and why their work matters. We visited while traveling with Bound By Dogs and filmed our tour as well, so anyone interested can find our visit to meet the team, see the shelter, and learn alongside us. We’re very thankful they welcomed us so openly and shared their experience with us. A knowledgeable, compassionate team doing important work for their animals and community. 🐾”
