Was not much space and felt like there were to many tables in such a small area the server was not very friendly and found him kinda of rude and had a poor bitter attitude felt food was over priced and was not all that good and had to wait almost and hour to get food the strawberry lemonade was very sweet like syrup and did not taste like strawberry lemonade was very unhappy with the experience

This is a review for the cafe, not the lodging. We came in for lunch after specifically searching for a quaint and historical spot. The space was lovely but very cold on a blustery day. The food was good. The owner, who was also our waiter, was short with us. Maybe it was just an off day for him.

We had a really great experience here. This historic home is well placed in downtown Stayton. We walked west to dinner and walked east to thrift shops. There are several covered bridges not far away. We found wild turkeys wandering and lots of rolling hills. Great breakfast at the BnB with a tour of some great NASA memorabilia. I wish there was an offer to see the upstairs and the cupola. But we respected privacy. Fun place to stay if you are visiting the Enchanted Forest from out of town or heading upTp Bend and need a break from driving.Rooms: Rustic, historic, loved and lovely.

The Ruben sandwiches were delicious, the the kettle chips were fine, but it would have been nice to have an option for a cup of soup or coleslaw. We got a personal tour of the museum that was very special! It's a fun place to go to with good food and good service!

Great location with access to wineries and great state parks in particular Silver Falls State Park. Breakfast was excellent, and the service is great! Make sure to take the tour while you wait for your breakfast of the JPL Museum. Ask about Phil number 174 and GE. You won’t be disappointed!Food & drinks: All the baked goods are made in-house and are fantastic. The breakfast was excellent as was the coffee. We took a scone with us and wished we had purchased more once we tried it.

We had the most lovely time at Gardner house. We stayed the night at the B&B and the room was so cute and old timey like we've gone back in time 100 years. The breakfast was so delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy, and then we opted for the tea party for lunch. The snacks and teas were so good even our 4 year old loved it and that's high praise lol. 10/10 would come again.

This was a very pleasant night in a charming old victorian octogon room. Aging, yes, but clean and spacious, with very attentive service from reservation to breakfast in the cafe. Great location for me paddling the N. Santiam River nearby. I'll go back for sure.

Stopped in for lunch on our way from Portland to Bend. Sandwiches were delicious! I had the ham with tomato jam and it was really wonderful. Bonus was all the NASA, memorabilia....having grown up across the street from NASA, found it all fascinating. The owner is super knowledgeable and had some Rally interesting stories to share. Don't miss this little gem if you are in, or passing through Stayton!
