Ashley is great. Super helpful and goes out of her way to help. Jack too. Other people were nice also but those two stood out. Definitely a better experience then last time I went.

I only visit this store every 10 days, but every 10 days it is an awful experience. Not one employee says excuse me. I get needing to restock shelves, but not one employee says excuse me: they basically aim the cart at you and expect you to jump out of the way. Very rude employees, never a smile or a hello. The prices are higher at this Safeway, compared to other Safeways. The produce is never fresh and spoils fast. The prices are high enough for you to provide fresh products.

Missing a lot of groceries. Rude employees . I have learned to shop at roths . More expensive but it is very pleasant and always have a good selections of meat and fresh veggies that don't rot the next day

They like to operate on the absolute bare minimum of employees. Slow service, grouchy cashiers, non existent management

online ordering is not advised. I was given half my order and half of the produce was rotten (red lettuce, rotten tomato and the head manager Michael is very unprofessional. rude and pompous and is more like a bully then a manager. he needs training on how to deal with complaint.

This store needs a serious revamp. Staff are rude, store smells of old grease, sale items are always out and meat counter closes before the working customer can get there. Once I needed a rain check and was told that I would need to wait for the manager to come back from break. On,y the manager could write them. I do not buy into the excuse of “short on staff”. Especially for out of stock sale items that are delivered by local vendors. Schweppes as an example. Funny how Silverton Safeway and South Salem have NONE of the issues. We need a Ralph’s or Monmouth sized Winco!

This has to be the best liquor store I've been in. Clean, bright, and personnel are very knowledgeable. Today the cashier recommended against a liquor that I probably wouldn't like and instead recommended another that turned out to be very tasty.

They were wearing their masks. Was clean. Good signage. Someone asked what we were looking for. We had a good person who gave us educational info. Left stocked up. Will be back.

Sadly, since this particular store doesn't enforce the mask policy we will no longer be shopping here. We've been customers for over 30 years. The last few times we were in the store there were several customers not wearing masks. When we asked the cashier about this she said it was too hard to enforce the rule. The manager said the same thing. This answer is unacceptable considering the health and safety of my family is at risk. The mask rule is easy to enforce. Costco, Winco, Trader Joe's and other stores have no problems with enforcement. Good bye Safeway.

I've been shopping at this Safeway for over 20 years. I used to not mind a trip to the store. But about 5 years ago things really started to slip. The shelves are not nearly as fully stocked, staff (stockers, baggers, checkers AND management) has gotten a more "what do you even want" vs "how can I help you" attitude over the years and there is just an overall feeling of un-professionalism. The store has been dirty and chronically understaffed...but then they just remodeled. And I got my hopes up. Still understaffed. And my husband (who hasn't been inside Safeway in about 2 years) popped in yesterday and afterwards asked why the store has slipped so much and why the store was so dirty. They literally finished the remodel a couple of weeks ago. I had no good answer for him except that I no longer want to shop there. EVER. But they are the only reasonably priced store in the vicinity so I feel stuck more often than not. And I have taken complaints to management only to get excuse after excuse as to why I have so many mistakes on the receipt, why staff has no knowledge of current sales, why staff has no idea where items are on shelves, why staff repeatedly puts bread underneath cans of food in my cart........the list goes on and on. I don't want excuses. I want a change in processes. I want a local grocery store that I WANT to support. I want my old Safeway back. From before they got bought out.

My daughter bought her mom a $25 gift card from Safeway my wife went to Safeway in Stayton Oregon and she was treated like a thief my wife being a 64-year-old disabled woman was so humiliated by the staff at Safeway that is why I will never shop at Safeway in Stayton again and I hope all of you never do again they were asking questions like date of birth address that has nothing to do with a gift card for $25 To top it off they never gave her the $25 for the gift card so needless to say she left Safeway feeling like a thief I will never forgive or forget this
