If I could give 0 stars I would! This internet is absolute trash I have never been so let down since dial-up, every thing is fine till about 6pm then the internet just shuts off and all I been told was well did you try unplugging your router. I will hopefully have a tech out soon but if the problem continues I'll probably go with dish or wave I'm totally disappointed what a waste of my money

Leslie laughed at my wife when she was hesitant to give the password to our account over the phone. Supposedly this is the only way to get any account info over the phone. Terrible business practice, rude customer service. No alternative to actually prove who you are to get help over the phone. Be aware that this company either stores all of their customers info in a non-secure fashion so that their employees can reference it OR they are logging in to your customer facing profile to get information about your billing history and payments.But when I went in in person I was given all the info immediately no questions asked or identity verified in any way. So what gives? Unfortunately not many other options for internet around here but I no longer trust SCTC to handle our information or be at all helpful with the process.And what do you do about a forgotten password? Can't get help over the phone, can't log in to the account to make a new one? We will be looking elsewhere for internet service.

I've been so used to meh service from larger providers like Comcast, so having two exceptionally skilled and friendly technicians show up ON TIME and ready to get me set up with the fastest Internet anywhere...well, HELL YEAH! I'm so happy to say that our connection equals (and occasionally surpasses) the speed (200Mbit up/200Mbit down) for which we're paying SCTC. I'm also a fairly serious MMO gamer, and I'm always worried about ping times. Well, I checked this morning, and current ping to a server in Seattle is 5ms. WOO HOO! (I jump for joy at any ping time under 50ms.) One last thing: setup was free. So...why are you still reading this? Get on the phone and get faster Internet!Just wanted to give a shout out to Mike and Carey (sp?) for their excellent, friendly service. Good-bye cable, hello fiber!

The fastest and most stable internet in the area! I have used them for over 20 years at many locations. When problems arise they are fixed and the speeds are true. I also have had Wave and Wave is OK but they cant match the speeds and uptime of SCTC 1gb fiber nor the knowledge of there general onsite techs.

Technician was rude to my girlfriend. I am a gamer and thought that because it was fiber it would be better. My service has been unreliable. Gig speed is much more expensive than Wave. Both companies seem to have issues in Stayton often but I’m done paying extra for the same reliability. Switching back to Wave.
