Ever since COVID-19, this branch has had issues keeping a full staff and maintaining regular business hours. It is really sad to see this branch suffer and now, at times, I find myself going to Salem to do my banking as the level of staff expertise is just not there anymore. I stay with USB because I loathe taking my money elsewhere but if things keep being so inconvenient then I am going to have to make a change.

US Bank kind of sucks anyway, which is why I personally choose a credit union over them, but this branch is the worst. They consistently have late openings or not even open at all. They are very slow, not friendly, and no customer service. I have never heard of a person needing to be on the account to make a deposit, not even Bank of America or Wells does that. I am just making a deposit into my wife's account and do not require a receipt with info, just a simply receipt stating I gave money...this crew and your bank are the absolute worst! Time for me to convince my wife to come fully to the CU world.

I don’t know what’s been going on with this branch over the last few months but bring back the old manager. This new one is useless. He’s never available, last three months every time I go in I have a problem that requires me to go back in or call, and half the time it can’t get fixed because the manager is not available, the employees are poorly trained and do not know how to do a basic transaction even though they’ve been there for two to three months, the employees do not listen either. You end up repeating yourself a lot, and you end up waiting for twenty plus minutes because they don’t have any experienced employees and the new employees are trying to fix a different issue. Save yourself the trouble and the hassle, go to a branch in Salem if you can. I know I will be from here on out.

Professionalism and dependability is what I expect from my bank. After banking with US Bank for over 30 years my experience at this branch has me considering other options for my accounts. What should have been a pretty easy task was unable to be completed on my first visit which was understandable since the ONE and only banker was really busy, but I was told to schedule an appointment so I could be sure to see him. I did this and received a confirmation and a reminder of my appointment. I arrived and was told that he "isn't here today." No call or message telling me this after I got off work early to make the appointment. The only reason to have a bank like this these days is to have a personal local banker when needed. If I don't have that with US Bank I might as well switch to one of the many other options out there.

First time at this Stayton branch. The teller was the most effective and professional banker I have met. I give five stars when things go perfect, down to one when its bad. This is a five star US Bank branch.

Just wish they had more people in the branch to wait on people inside the branch. Wait time can be long with only one person to work with you.

I won a class action lawsuit against US Bank. They kept overcharging me fees when I had $40,000+ in my Accounts and was continuously charged overage fees. I pointed this out and was told I was in error. The class action lawsuit awarded me over $600 with a check drawn on US Bank. So I took the check to this branch. Asked if I could cash it since it was drawn on US bank. They told me no. I needed me to pay a $10 service fee.I was like, do you have any idea why I got this check? I can believe it. Here’s a check drawn on your bank. And they won’t cash it without you paying $10 because you no longer belong to US Bank.Wow!Wouldn’t put my money in this Bank for any reason.

Like another person said, "I wish it could be zero!!!" $7 to cash an individual unemployment check in pandemic times. That sounds like a wonderful little racket given the unemployment dept. requires the 1st pmt to be check form and with alot of people getting back pay, there are bunches of people getting multiple checks all at once and US Bank gets the opportunity to help in a pandemic or hurt. $7 a check with zero relief offered of any kind.

Horrible situation caused by a banker named Kylie for my senior disabled sister. US Bank has caused my sister to be in a bad financial situation by blocking her account and returning her SSI checks to the feds. Collene had a stroke at the end of July. While she was in Salem Hospital her wallet with debit card was stolen with her Oregon ID. I called and had the debit card cancelled and a new card issued. Instead, US banker Kylie blocked Collene's account and caused Collene's SSI checks to be returned. Now, they are not doing anything to fix their mistakes. US Bank claims to be a consumer's financial ally but that is a lie. I wish I could give them zero stars.

I have banked here for years. These guys do a great with customer service. If you feel that they do not, them maybe you need to take a long hard look at yourself and how you are coming across to people when you are doing business in their establishment.
