My mom lives in Aumsville they have tried yo fix her 200 dollars a month cable multiple times. Still have to unplug box's and modem at least 8 times a day . They SUCK

This internet service is out more often than it works. I’m basically paying over $200 a month for air. Each time I call in it’s “so sorry” “we are experiencing an outage” or “have you tried resetting your modem?”. I reset my modem more than 5 times a day. This service is useless. If you have another option TAKE IT.Update: Since my last review Wave has become Astound but nothing else has really changed. We finally purchased our own router and modem which helped a little bit still experience constant outages or slow speeds. There are new companies beginning to offer service in our area and I can’t wait to switch.

Have had this service for two years. Equipment needs rebooting regularly. Customer service over the phone is consistently horrible.

I've been with this company through at least 3 different name changes. All by virtue of the only broadband option available. And although it's nice to be able to call, after navigating the ridiculous automation. You get to speak to someone stateside. That's the positive. The old joke that the price of something changes like my cable bill? That's the truth. I don't get statements mailed as I went paperless. I don't get even an email statement until my bill changes and I owe something I didn't know I owe. Were supposed to get another option option out my way this next spring. I'll give them a shot. When Astound works? It's good. That's what I pay for. When it doesn't? Well, here I am writing this without service.

To call them predatory is an insult to predators. They are a perfect example of why our government should be looking into the monopolies that broadband is run by. Average speeds run you 240 kbps...I guess that's better than dial up. Not by much..but ..

The customer representative was very knowledgeable and efficient changing out our TIVO boxes and explaining the updates to the new system.

Stayton, OR & Surrounding Area's! PLEASE look into other Internet options such as SCTC, Even if the speeds are not as good, at least it will work & be reliable. The FRUSTRATION is NOT WORTH IT! Over the past year we have had more days without the internet working, than working, this last month they finally comp'd a payment as they said "ya we see you have had lots of interruptions"!***I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT USE WAVE****

Shady business practices. Wave/astound in general. An autopay didn't go through and I paid with a different card the same day and they're trying to charge me 71 dollars for the autopay not going through. Going back to fiber.

EDIT: We went in to the office and actually got reliable help from the ladies there. Don’t EVER call them for help. They are so disrespectful and unhelpful. These ladies saved you guys from losing customers.Their plans are different vs when you call and when you sign up online. They over charged us DOUBLE the amount because we went “over” our plan even though our plan was originally unlimited. Luckily they’re waving the fee and actually upgrading us to our original plan. But now it costs $25 extra for unlimited. So confusing, not helpful, very frustrating.

The install tech cut lines to a dish network customer and they claim that their tech wouldn't be able to remedy the situation. It's not a complicated issue. I could fix it myself but I'm not purchasing equipment to fix astounds doings. I thought when people break things they fixed. For those of you who need service and it's in your area, I highly recommend ZIPLY !!!

I’d have to say Wave (Astound) broadband is among the top worst companies in the US and they’ve earned the reputation. Wind blowing? A few snowflakes fall? Well, you can count on an immediate disruption in service. So basically pay their high prices and don’t expect any customer service. Also it’s a good idea to not work from home or take classes that require an even halfway decent internet connection. Worst company I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with, just waiting for a decent competitor as there are few in my area.
